Can anyone explain to me why Clarkson would pass the inbounds and not like say, Randle?

Clarkson should have been our go to guy.

I thought so too. It really did look good.

Ah well. Better him or Clarkson taking the last shot over (bleep) Lou Will or Young.

un-freaking-believable

Seemed as if a broken play. They were up against the clock getting it in so at a point, you just get the ball to whoever can get open.

Lou was just playing as terrible if not worse than DLo yet he gets to finish the game. Only 24 mins tonight for DLo. Scott's a hater.

Somehow I think the guy with the 8'11 standing reach and the near 7'3 wingspan would have been a better choice to try to defend Dirk.

But he sets good screens and rolls hard to the basket. So we aren't gonna see much of him.

A good effort by the young guys, but an effort once more marred by a bad lineup choice near the end when momentum and ball movement was actually happening and screens were opening guys up along the perimeter.

It's a broken record at this point, more of the same.

10th straight loss.

Even though it nearly went in, the defense will take a contested Randle three 10 out of 10 times. That's not how you execute a last second shot.

That being said, 1 game closer to Simmons!

Hopefully in a few years that's a shot that will scare teams. Now... what a moronic last possession.

It also might have been because of how Randle shot it. Didn't seem natural and seemed like he was trying to get a little extra on it.

The game was lost when Byron benched Black for Randle instead of Nance.

No more, no less.

All this game did was prove

That we should be running

Russell
Kobe
Brown
Randle
Hibbert

as our starting lineup and

Clarkson
Williams
Young
Nance Jr
Black

As our bench.

But because Byron is a [expletive] idiot, those lineups or the close variations (Clarkson instead of Kobe, or Russell instead of Clarkson) were our most effective, and least played lineups that we saw this game.

[expletive] Byron Scott.

Maybe if we get the worst record in the NBA and wind up with the 4th pick it will kill this "lottery" mentality of 'one step closer to Simmons' whenever we lose. Maybe that's what these Lakers fans that have let that kind of mentality become them need to shake them out of apathy.
