I thought everyone on the Laker squad played hard tonight. Randle had a veery good game, DLO and Nance not their best night but I liked how chippy Russell was against the rotton little dwarf. All our guards for that matter.
Competitive, close game. Unlucky loss but I like seeing some fight in this team again. |

That Lou call was a mess. To use a John Ireland euphemism, the refereeing was "weird" all night tonight. |

Clarkson should have been our go to guy. |

It looked long to me right away. Thought it might hit glass but it hit the back of the rim. |
Same, it looked a lot better from the other angle. |
It also might have been because of how Randle shot it. Didn't seem natural and seemed like he was trying to get a little extra on it. |
Speaking of unnatural, why does Lou keep shooting that shot as he is fading toward the tunnel? Several times recently, he has taken that shot when there is no need.....as in nobody was in front of him and he could have squared up and shot a jumper. I have not watched close enough to chart the success, but it seems like most miss badly. It often looks like that shot as coach blows the whistle to end practice, and he just throws it up there on the way to the locker room. |

I seem to recall earlier in the season he was saying a #2 pick should be a game changer. Now the number two pick tried to change the game and he got pulled. Ok then... |

Yeah why take a chance on DLO shooting a three with time running out when we can put it in the hands of a proven perimeter player like Randle? |

Lou gets all the calls from the refs, so it's karmic payback that his junk game evens out.
Also, 3 timeouts left and you still inbound it to Julius for a 3?
In the end, this was a good tank loss. We need the L way more than the W. |

The call on lou williams was BS, and BS is the worst coach in the history of basketball. 2 seconds left and you have clarkson inbounds while the most likely shot is a catch and shoot jumper??? Randle or nance should be inbounding the ball, with screen action to free up the shooter. |
