Are you referring to Ten Numb?

Yessir. Been through all the wars, can talk about it...and is sitting on the bench.

He's the evil Emperor. Tricked us all with "I'm part of Showtime" and the powers-that-be voted and installed him to the head coaching job. Now he's about to kill DLO Skywalker and Kobe Vader's got to finish the job already.

Darth Plagueis/Darth Sidious - David Stern/Adam Silver - brought destruction/suffering upon the Lakers Franchise.

Yoda - Jerry Buss - wise ruler; originally brought balance to the force kept the dark forces at bay.

Count Dooku - Jim Buss - turned his back on the Jedi Council (FO) a snake in the grass.

Shaak Tii - Jeanie Buss - jedi knight & member of the council; good intentioned, but naiive and falls prey to the emperor's schemes during the fall of the Republic (Lakers Franchise).

Qui Gon Jinn - Jerry West - responsible for finding the one to bring balance to the force (Anakin Skywalker). Dies (leaves the Lakers) thanks in part to Dooku's betrayal (Darth Maul).

Obi Wan Kenobi
- Mitch Kupchak - mentors Anakin upon his master's death (left the Lakers).

Anakin Skywalker - Kobe Bryant - did many wonderful deeds, but ultimately seduced by the dark side (taking as many shots as humanly possible) - a brilliant but flawed individual fueled by anger and emotional attachments.

Admiral Ozzel
- Byron Scott - Darth Vader's lap dog; killed by Vader for incompetence before the Hoth Campaign. (hasn't happened yet, fingers-crossed)

Luke Skywalker - D'Angelo Russell - Tested and seduced by his father (Kobe) into turning to the dark side (taking many shots), but still in his infancy (rookie season) and does many good things

Han Solo - Jordan Clarkson - a veteran (of one season) who assists a young Skywalker; strong-willed and a good friend.

Chewbacca - Tarik Black - Big and strong partner for Han; however, suppressed by Ozzel, doesn't get much screen time.

Princess Leia - Ben Simmons/Brandon Ingram - separated because of the galactic war, will one day re-unite with Luke and bring balance to the force (NBA title).

See, this is a safer and more creative outlet for an otherwise bleak season. May the Force be with us...and down with Emperor Byron.

I'm trying to think of a character dumber than a sand person to equate to Byron. Anyone got any ideas?

How about that monster that tried to eat Han Solo and Lando in the desert?

Originally thought maybe JarJar, but he actually gets things right in spite of his incompetence, so I settled for Admiral Kendal Ozzel.

Are they 2 different people? I know Ten Numb exists. I play the Star Wars Card Trader game on my phone lol.

edit*

Just looked it up. You're right. Well done.

Quote:
In the movie Ten is played by Richard Bonehill[4]. He wore a red uniform, as did all B-wing pilots. Easily mistaken for Nien Nunb, Ten can be seen in this uniform on an original Topps Return of the Jedi trading card as well as in the film during the briefing and the celebration on Endor.

This movie is so bad that it must be the prequel trilogy, with PJ as Palpatine / Sidious.

Byron needs a Red Letter Media style review on his coaching.

Byron is Ozzel. Vader had the sense to kill off Ozzel.
