If you step back think about it, this is really the LAST TIME Byron Scott will get a head coaching position in the NBA.

Silver Lining baby.

I doubt he get his old job at TWC back. The last thing they want when the team is losing is to bring in someone who is generally disliked by the fans.

As for another coaching gig most of the players who were around back when he was successful are no longer in the NBA.

Time is winding down on those coaches who played in the NBA back in the 80s.

Byron
Doc
Kerr
Carlisle
Mitchell
Skiles
Wittman
Hornacek
Brown

Exactly. I don't see him back on TWC. Who is going to take that idiot seriously? What is he going to say about what he would've done if the Lakers lost a game? We know what he would've done which was a disaster. I'm not listening to anything he has to say about basketball.

I'd stop watching them play, straight up. Just catch the highlights (or most likely lowlights) the next day.

Can't stand to see the youth get held back while Lou pulls the same old antics to get to the line. It's not basketball.

I don't know. The next team in search of a tank commander would have to strongly consider him.

I can see Doc being gone after a season or two.

Kerr and Carlisle are great, so they'll be around.

He can't even tank properly. The fool has talent rotting on the bench while playing vets because he's in win now mode.

They'll keep him. But they'll promote him. He'll be rewarded for taking on the chore of coaching a bad team, and the PR hit for the team.
