MKG would still be rusty. Hopefully Randle can have a great performance again. Wanna see Russell burning Jeremy Lin too.

He had 13 points & 7 rebounds Friday; he doesn't appear to be that rusty.

We can only hope that the Hornets partied hardy last night and over-indulged in the LA night life.
I couldn't blame them if they did because I've done it a time or three myself.

33 games left this season, Lakers are second worst in the league, and Philly is only 2 games worse and showing signs of life.

What does the mean for our coach?

I think Scott is going to pull out all the stops tonight since Kobe's out anyhow. He'll want a Lou Williams 50 point iso scorefest to win the game. However, he's doing some strategical thinking here: if Williams doesn't lead us to victory, develop and nurture Huertas, Williams, Kelly and Bass, and watch that despicable Russell guy, take note of what he tries to do, and go straight to the press after the game and complain about it.

He's playing to win, after all.

this is probably the best chance for lakers to pull out a win for a while...the hornets are really banged up.....Batum has been injured and performed horribly the last two games, he will not play tonight.....Lin re-aggravate his ankle sprain in utah, did not play the last game, he is doubtful for tonight.... Lamb has been out for a few games with a toe injury....Zeller is out with injury.... Kemba walker will play, however he is not healthy either....MKG just came back...
and on top of all these, Hornets is simply not a good team on the road...

Yes, but we have Byron Scott to counteract all of that.

If Kobe starts I'm guessing that will be the starters and the second unit but I'd imagine

Clarkson/Russell
Lou/Brown
Kobe/Young
Randle/Bass
Hibbert/Black

I really wish Kobe would just take the 2 weeks off Vitti wants him to and that shoulder will be good enough to the point he won't have to play one game then miss 2 games then play 1 game and miss 2 games and play 2 games and miss 1 game.

Just take the freaking weeks off.

Expecting Julius to have another big game!

I hope Nance Jr. takes time to recover thoroughly. We need his athleticism, heart & hustle.

Larry Nance Jr. (knee) will not play tonight. Julius Randle will continue to start.

Shame that Nance doesn't play but it also means Randle starts (who should never be coming off the bench in the first place).

It's exactly what I mean when I said that it will take players getting injured in order for the players we want to see play more...play more. Like Clarkson last year with the Ronnie Price situation.

Now we need Lou Williams to get hurt or sick while Kobe rests in order for Russell to start.

We need Kobe, Lou, Huertas and Clarkson to ALL get sick then maybe Russell will start... maybe

Why would Clarkson need to go out if the other 3 are all out? Who would start then...oh wait...of course.

Clarkson
Nick Young
Anthony Brown

Ahhh. I bet Byron would even go as far as to start his 2nd worst enemy (bleep) Nick Young over Russell.

You're right...(bleep) IT!
