Does Luke come with Steph, Klay and Draymond? If not, why do you think he'd make a difference? We keep blaming Byron but a decent NBA team couldn't lose 41 games before the allstar break if they tried...

Seriously?

Luke would be a huge upgrade over Byron.

Even with a limited roster were 10 games better.

Agreed. I dont think we hit rock bottom yet.

I don't see how it gets worse, baring an injury to a player, God forbid.

Nance's knee is injured. DLO and Ryan Kelly are on suicide watch.

A possibility..The Lakers keep Byron, No major free agent signs, lose the pick (bad luck) and Russell/Randle never flourish and are ruined forever by Byron. Rock bottom folks.

Ignoring the double negative--which makes the statement a positive--I have to agree that it is going to be difficult to sign anyone of consequence this off season.

Luke wouldn't play us "old skool" like what Byron is trying to do....

McGee just asked "Whose job is it to motivative the players? The coaching staff"

And BGJ said "Its the players job. They have been given the tools."

I mean they have been given a hammer and told to cut something in half. (bleep) YOU Byron and lackey James

I'm tired of Byron's buddies defending him. Those guys were always up on MDA every damn game but can't even say a thing against Byron.

Oh wow. McGee asks if its the coaches job to motivate and BGJ says NO. And that the players aren't giving the game plan a chance.

The irony is that Showtime might be the reason this iteration of the Lakers is so bad...they are helping Byron keep his job.

He is right. We have lost 41 games before the break. That is as bad as it gets in this league historically. At some point, you have to look at he roster and admit it's not good...

I think that a young guy like Luke would understand the big picture. Yeah we'd probably not be much better in the W column, but he would certainly emphasize playing the young guys, and you would definitely see progress day 2 day.

BGJ's analysis sucks just as bad as Byron.
