Byron has driven down the trade value of the players.

He is right. We have lost 41 games before the break. That is as bad as it gets in this league historically. At some point, you have to look at he roster and admit it's not good...

We were competitive just the other night. This game they gave up. One has to consider why.

I remember worthy in kcal9 days, he was fair and accurate in his post game analysis. Wonder how much of this show time mafia theme is being pushed upon him from TWC and the Buss family

I dunno, these historically bad seasons just seem to follow Byron. Maybe he just sucks

Who knows but I wouldn't blame Byron. The players have to just play at some point...

Does Luke come with Steph, Klay and Draymond? If not, why do you think he'd make a difference? We keep blaming Byron but a decent NBA team couldn't lose 41 games before the allstar break if they tried...

Byron is breaking his own record for the worst Lakers record in their entire history dating back to their formation.....think about that one.
We've had bad teams over the years but if you look at the guys on the roster they have won before and its not like they are a bunch of no talent hacks.

Only people are blind can't see the obvious incompatence with our coaching staff. This team looks so poorly coached each game. It takes 15 (bleep) seconds to get into our offense. There's never communication on defense. Nobody helps each other on either end of the court. No ball movement. Horrible spacing. Lack of team effort on the boards. This is all coaching.

Some people only see what they want to see. Unfortunately it is our front office that wants to believe Byron is a innocent bystander. Just a complete joke

The pro Byron group thinks coaches never are inept or lose teams. Coaches get fired all the time. Byron is the best at losing. so whats so shocking here? Time to move on from the stench

Agreed. I go from forgiving Byron during off days and blaming the Lakers FO to completely having hatred for everything Byron stands for on gamedays. this cant be healthy

I used to like his analysis but he's really grasping at straws to defend his buddy.

Q: what adjustments did you make at halftime to counteract their three point shooting

Byron: they're (Charlotte) going to make 3s. I told them to work harder.

Guess the Lakers only hope is to start having nationally recognized voices start calling out this coach and front office for the hack job they are doing....obviously they aren't gonna get it within the Laker family.

this is probably the best chance for lakers to pull out a win for a while...the hornets are really banged up.....Batum has been injured and performed horribly the last two games, he will not play tonight.....Lin re-aggravate his ankle sprain in utah, did not play the last game, he is doubtful for tonight.... Lamb has been out for a few games with a toe injury....Zeller is out with injury.... Kemba walker will play, however he is not healthy either....MKG just came back...
and on top of all these, Hornets is simply not a good team on the road...

Yes, but we have Byron Scott to counteract all of that.

We have talent but we are way too young. We also lack defensive prowess.
Additionally the team is not comprised of the type of players needed to execute Coach Scott's crappy old Princeton style of play.

Bull. Look at the Magic. They're just as young and are in the EC playoff picture.
