Amidst a tumultuous start, prevailing 10-game losing streak, and sudden loss of team morale, should Kobe hold a players-only meeting? _________________ Stay cool, stay calm, stay crazy!

Are there Lakers fans out there that actually believe that the team they have on the floor should be winning? I understand varying levels of basketball knowledge and that some people are naturally more optimistic than others but this is just a bad team.

So last season Utah was projected to win about 20-25 games. They ended up winning 38 after dumping a 'old school' coach and hiring a smart young coach. Then everyone was talking about how awesome Gobert and Hayward are. I assure you that if Byron was coaching that team, they win less than 20 and people would be talking about how everyone on that roster is garbage.
It's obvious why, when you see Kobe put his hands over his head at the end of last game. Some games Lakers are executing beautifully and look like they are on their way to win 4 or 5 games. Then all of a sudden they play a stretch of four good teams and now are down in the dumps. There's obviously a morale issue here, and it might make sense to have Kobe address the players. We still have a half a season to go. _________________ Stay cool, stay calm, stay crazy!

Do we really want to make changes now that would result in more meaningless wins and less chance of keeping our pick? We maybe doing exactly what Bryon, Mitch, and the rest of the Laker organization wants for this season, but can never say or admit to publicly.
Kobe will fill the seats even with the team tanking. Not many teams could get away with that.

Yes, I want the 76ers to get our pick. No need to reward the FO for this season. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

there was some serious stalling for time by michael cooper at yesterday's social media night postgame q+a before d'angelo russell returned to the court for interview.
i thought maybe there was a player's only meeting or coach was ripping into them after the loss but then i conceded there's no point to it all.
this is uncharted territory with such a proud franchise in as deplorable a state as they are. i mean can you think of any others? last place, 10 game losing streak. just pitiful _________________ Final moments 2010 NBA Finals Game 7:

Kobe hasn't shown any signs of being unhappy with Byron's work. According to Byron, Kobe agrees with him about the handling of the rookies. I'm not sure what a meeting would accomplish. Kobe is beyond being worried about the outcome of this season. He already acknowledged they aren't going anywhere.

Kobe's having a great time. This might the most he's ever smiled in a season post-Colorado. The whole season has become one big IDGAF, from the FO down to the ballboy.
