well i'll say this much... i've lived in oakland for over 15 years. i've kept tabs on the dubs like i do with all other NBA teams. i'm still a laker for life though (born in LA).
once the dubs not only started to complete, BUT lacob pushed through the move across the bay to San Fransisco, every smug SF douchebag latched onto that team, all the while trashing oakland.
"the dubs are coming back home, where they belong!"
"the warriors never called themselves the Oakland warriors because Oakland is a sh*thole".

I prefer Oakland to this side of the Bay. And Oakland is indeed a (bleep) hole.
But yeah man, I've been following the move and Oakland is getting a raw deal. I've been to a ton of games when the dubs stunk and it was mostly local fans from Oakland at the games. After the championship its all tech yuppie 49rs fans. Kinda sad.
