2nd time Curry has had 11 threes effortlessly. I don't really get too worked up when Curry gets close to Kobe's record. Its just a matter of time till he breaks it. If Curry's teammates tried harder to get him the record tonight he would have got it.

waaay too much credit being given to curry in what you said. the whole reason why he is in this position is because his teammates are doing everything they can to get him these shots. you make it sound like it's his teammates fault he didn't hit more threes or something. the truth is that if his teammates didn't try even this hard, he would not even get those shots off. go look at the replays when they are available.
curry can't be the goat (yet) because he needs way more help for his success compared to guys like mj, kobe, wilt, magic, larry. he will (or someone on this warrior team most likely break the 3point record. and when he does, you have to factor in that when kobe set that record, the 3point shooting culture was not where it is now.
just wait until durant comes. there will be no more talk about curry being the goat. it will have to move to durant, which will make a lot more sense.

Yes I am aware how much his team helps him. I was more so talking about late in the game them not trying to force the record like one might a triple double. I probably should have said team instead of teammates. And I don't really have a problem with Curry not being forced fed at the end. Was just an observation.

I guess 13 is a lot harder than it seems... _________________ ♪ ♫One good thing about music, when it hits, you feel no pain...

it really isn't for curry, he could have easily tied the record and maybe beat it during the last 4 minutes of the game, he didn't launch a single 3. He is going to break it, just a matter of time

Good post. Instead of forcing up a bunch of shots going for the record, he got a couple of layups and setup his teammates. Made the right basketball plays. _________________ Smrek 2, Nevitt 1, Barkley 0

Yeah. If Curry had a Wilt mentality, he would have shattered the record tonight.
13 will be done, trust. He's good. He practices with one hand. Kobe had one of those white hot nights back in 03 where he was smoking from the arc and he kept shootin until he started missing and wound up with a dozen. I don't know what Marshall did to match it, but who really knows that much about Donyell Marshall as a Utah Jazz, cmon.
Anyway, before the last couple seasons, if I had to wager on which record: 13 treys or 34 pts in a quarter, was more likely to be broken, I would've guessed the 13 treys tbh. It's just a shot that is too well utilized these days (I think overly utilized by teams that suck at shootingCOUGH!). It is a surprise to me that Curry hasn't already done it, matter of fact. If he has a shooting night that is equivalent (for him) to Kobe's zone level on the night of 1/7/03, then he might put up a record that's REALLY stoopid, like 16. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL SEDALE TRIBUTE EDDIE DONX!
Curry will more than likely demolish the record. And he's already the only player to hit 11 more than once. I'm content that the record is going to possibly the greatest shooter ever... instead of a bum like JR Smith who just has a lucky night. _________________ -Avenue of the Champions- -RIP Dr Buss- #824
Considering that he will own all of the three point records when his career is done, it's only right that he has the single game record, too. So if it has to be broken, it should be him. There's something wrong that Donyel Marshall, of all people, is tied with Kobe. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid!
