Glad Kobe's (and Donyel's) record survives. Curry will get it for sure. Just not tonight.

He wasn't even trying to tie it towards the end, was just content on making plays for other guys. |

The laughable part of this is it's not only Kobe's record he shares it with Marshall and why would you be so worried about a record be broken that is already being shared with someone else? |

It's going to happen. Records are meant to be broken so I don't get the Lakers fans getting all worried about someone breaking it. |
i know its going to happen. That doesn't mean I'm going to actively root for it to happen and get more excited for it then I do of actual Laker accomplishments |

Steph and Klay combine for 17/29 from long range. _________________ LeBron, AD, & _________. Stay tuned.

If you were watching the game, you'd have agreed with me. Curry wasn't forcingit, they were taking away the 3 and giving him the 2. |

He means he shares it with a Marshall hence the record is already tied with another player. |

Some choose to root for Curry to break it, I root for the record to stay with Kobe. So what? Not as important as a Laker win, it's total trivia, but don't get all worried about some of us cheering for the record to survive the night.
Wherever it stands, I'll root for it to get broken in a couple years when Clarkson or Russell is sitting at 10 3's in the 3rd quarter. |

Wizards were aware of the record so they didn't want him to break it against them. |

It's not Kobe's record. It's Kobe and Donyell Marshall's record.
I don't root for Curry or anyone to break it. But if someone goes off for 7 threes in a quarter, then I want to see them do 7 more the next quarter. That's fun to me regardless of who to see someone do something so incredible. |

There's no difference between rooting for a record to maintain vs rooting for it to be broken. It's *entertainment* either way. Everyone defines it differently.

Ventura was referring the record being tied with Marshall is it that hard to understand? |

Uh I believe this started with the poster Andre talking about he hopes Steph doesn't tie it. Maybe you both misinterpreted the poster. |

Not to put words in Andre's mouth, but I think he just wanted to see it broken or not, having a 3-way tie wouldn't be as fun. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |
