Is this cut-and-paste? Didn't you post the exact same thing verbatim last game? |

Don't get me wrong, I want to keep the pick, but when we win I don't care if Sacre scored all of the points. It's a moot point. |

I see it differently - Russell had a LOT to do with this win. They had a real hard time stopping him when he posted up his defender and drove towards the hoop. His 3 wasn't falling at all, but he still fought hard on defense, drew an occasional double team, and of course that coast-to-coast play off the Davis fail was a good exclamation mark.
Better yet, DLO, Scott, Clarkson and Williams were talking to each other a lot during this game, and I actually heard them more on defense this time around. They held NO under 100 points. New Orleans kept on trying to attack Russell and it didn't work.
Byron should have let him finish, but I have a feeling Russell doesn't feel one bit bad about it this game. |
Agreed. I want DLO in at the end too but that doesn't take away from the positives. DLO had a great game and we shouldn't let Bryon's dumbass overshadow that. |

Well considering that JC got us off to a hot start, Julius played a solid 32 minutes and Russell also had a very solid 30 minute game, I'd say we DID win in part because of JC/DLO/Randle. You're just mad JC isn't the hero yet and Kobe still is. |

I don't mind winning the lottery, as long as it's with the numbers I choose and not the quick pick. |

Just for you Dave, courtesy of DB's Thoughts and Ratings:
Heading into the fourth, they led by 10. Clarkson suddenly became a train wreck of missed shots, turnovers and easy scores on D.
Scott went to his vet. The Mamba Returned and sank two threes right after entering the game. With the lead down to 3 and a minute left, he swished another three, waving his finger at the crowd. A huge make.
With 21 seconds left, up 2, we inbounded and Kobe wasn’t fouled for 15 seconds. Major brain freeze by the Pelicans.
Luckily for them, Kobe missed one of his FTs and lead was just 3 with 5.9 left.
It would come down to one stop. The Pelicans airballed the three and the Lakers held on to the win, 99-96.
These last two games, the Lakers had their resilient closer and held on.
Asked what it took down the stretch, Clarkson said, “Kobe.” _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman |

Are people really complaining about this loss? This was a great win and a fun game to watch. It was vintage Kobe all over again. And this team is still going to lose a ton of games the rest of the way. I bet we lose at least eight of our next 10 games, and the rest of our schedule only gets tougher. Everyone just relax and enjoy the wins as they come, because they will be few and far in between the rest of the way. |

The upcoming schedule is brutal. Victories will be very hard to come by. If we win 2 out of the next 10 that will be ok.
Spurs - away
Pacers - away
Cavs - away
Spurs - home
Bulls - away
Bucks - away
Grizzlies - away
Grizzlies - home
Nets - home
Nuggets - away
We need to focus on improving defensively and continue to play with intensity & effort. |
