Congrats!
Hopefully they start winning.
I have 2 girls, 8 and 5. I have to keep reminding them that we are Lakers fans, they always ask me wht they are so bad. lol. They are kind of gravating towards Lebron and Curry because they are always on TV and they see their teams winning, I have to remind them that it is ok for them to want those teams to win when they are not playing the Lakers, but we are Lakers fans.
They like Kobe because I showed the his old highlights and Championships and now they're starting to like Clarkson and Russell because they have seen them play well. |

Indoctrinate from the crib. My ex wife's water broke during the 4th quarter of Game 5 of the 2002 Western Conference Finals (we were already at hospital), and as the staff was unplugging monitors, etc. to move us to the pre-delivery unit, she forbid anyone to move the bed before the game had ended.
My daughter was home in time for the Finals and a sweep of the Nets. She has grown up a little, been to a handful of Lakers games, and got to be there for the 2009 Championship.
After she saw the news about Kobe's retirement on Instagram, she had a serious look on her face when she saw me later that day. She was not upset, but understood this was big news in our house. She is not a big basketball fan, but she will always be a Lakers fan.
