Those who go to Lakers games...PLEASE start the "Fire Byron" chants.
Maybe Jeannie will stop tweeting during the game and hear the chants. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

What blows my mind is there really isn't that much hostility toward Byron right now. Remember MDA? I actually worried for his life at times. I understand the whole Phil fiasco happened with him, but now with Byron there just isn't the same kind of response and pressure from the fans or media to get him the (bleep) out of here. Honestly the only place I've consistently seen rally to get Byron fired is here on LG. Just look at facebook comments after games, fans are just content to ride the KFT and pretend like this (bleep) idiot isn't running the franchise into the ground. Its horrible and its why I keep fearing the worst case scenario where the FO gives him another chance next season. |

Not entirely true. The Lakers might win more games with BS gone this season. There is absolutely no hope for anything this season except a small chance at a top draft pick. Just try to ignore the guy, enjoy watching our youngsters and say farewell to Kobe.
Not an easy task, I know. But unfortunately these are the cards we're dealt for now. I'm looking forward to change this off-season. |

First bold...
I'm thinking it's so obvious that maybe some people feel they don't need to express their disgust. At least that's what I'm hoping.
Second bold...
Please don't say that. |

Jesus Christ. If our front office can't realize that Byron's the worst (bleep) coach in the history of our franchise, we're done as a winning franchise. |

B-Scott is reminding me of those occasional kooky big-mouthed players on CBS's Survivor: they never win, they alienate everyone, but sometimes they are knitted to another player who figures out it's best to keep them around through the end of the season so that his losing earns you the big prize. Maybe Jim Buss finally has one right: eliminate Bee in June and win a great LOTTERY position ! |

We got guys like Shaq, etc. The Lakers breed on that cocky lead player. It's hilarious.
I think it's most likely leaked from Scott's camp. |
What's funny is this thread and others. It seems that all that is being reported is what Byron should be doing with the young players however the player(s) have not said one thing negative about Byron's coaching. It's the media and so called fans with agenda's that is creating this negative atmosphere. Anyone who thinks this season was not going to go this way after Kobe announcing his retirement is plain blind, stupid, or both. Which leads me back to fan and media agendas.
Byron is the coach for better or worse. Support him or don't but this is the NBA (No Boys Allowed). DLO and Randle have to accept the coaching from Byron and excel to the best of there ability.
Lastly Jordan Clarkson went through the same issues when he was a rookie, the difference, Jordan was a 2nd round pick with low expectations and DLO and Randle were both lottery picks with high expectations but Byron coaches them the same way as Jordan. _________________ Winning is all that matters!! |

Typical Byron quote. I saw it a couple times and was surprised more people didn't catch it _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though." |
