They seem poised to win over 50 games this season. It has taken a lot of patience on the part of Clippers fans, but they seem to have arrived. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. They have talent at every position.
C - Kaman
PF - Brand
SF - Maggete (though he's injured)
SG - Mobley
PG - Cassell
A lot of times they play that lineup of Livingston, Cassell and Mobley with Brand and Kaman inside. That's just a very good offensive lineup.
But I don't think Clips have enough D to do anything in the PO's. Offense wins you a ton of regular season games, but you need defense to make an impact in the PO's |

They're very solid...this year. Do you think they can keep it up? I'm betting Cassell deteriorates badly next year (he's old), and Livingston just doesn't have the leadership skills yet and has to prove he can stay healthy. I love Brand, Kaman, and Mobley, but will the Stern jinx destroy what they're building? |

i think the Clippers will do ok in the playoffs, but Cassell will demand a lot of money and when he doesn't get it same ol' clips. |

The Clippers are second in the league in opposing FG% (42.6%), only behind the Spurs. Their defense has actually been the bright spot of the season.
The main thing preventing the Clippers from going deep in the playoffs is the idiotic playoff format. Even though they currently have the 4th best record in the conference, they are set to play either Dallas or San Antonio in round #1. |

The Clipper might have a shot at advancing if they manage to make the #6 seed. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that." ~~Martin Luther King Jr.~~ |

They can also advance if they get the 2 seed. Which is possible since they ar eonly 2 games back and if Suns struggle. They have been playing some great ball recently without their second best player lets see if he comes back im not sure if he will or not this season. |

Yea, after being a Clips fan for about 6 years, so am I. Mostly done because of the improvement of Brand, and the signing of Cassel. We've won 8 of our last 9, and this is without C-Mag. Watch out for us in the playoffs _________________ A Clipper/Laker Fan

The Clippers have played great this season, have you watched their bigs defend the pick and roll? If they had Mags healthy all season, they would be nasty. What they lack is depth, and with Mags still out, they are not going far in the playoffs. They need Mags 100 % for the playoffs, but with the kind of defense they get from Ross, Kaman, Brand; I think they could beat anybody in the West with the possible exception of San Antonio. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

I believe he has ADD, so he really has to concentrate, probably the only man in the NBA, hanging on every word his coach says. That's probably why he has developed into a legitimate talent. Those stats will soon be 14 and 11 next year. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

That would be amazing if they made the second seed. They might have to play the Lakers. Everyone would just stay at home. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that." ~~Martin Luther King Jr.~~ |

Alien is definitely clutch he did it again after doing it the previous game. When Clippers first got Sam I had my doubts hes changed those doubts. |

Their window of opportunity lasts only as long as Cassell's back and their rookie contract lengths. |

Are there any updates on Maggette? and whether or not he's going to play or have season ending surgery?
With or without him, they'll be tough in the playoffs.
Did I just say that? |

If the Clippers make the playoffs and the Lakers don't, that is gonna be depressing. |
