Pretty much.
Winning this crap game would have been a killer. Byron cannot be rewarded for his (bleep) parking brake. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Byron has a summer league rotation going right now.
9 guys all between 22 and 27 minutes tonight. |

I'm not on Team Tank. The Lakers need to be winning games, but not on the backs of guys with little to no future in our rotation. |

Yes, I bet he is pretty excited about joining our 14 win team. If the plan is to sign Durant, we better have a plan B. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

D-Lo and Randle were a combined 3-14, and y'all are complaining about them not being out there? They were playing like dog (bleep). I hate Byron as much as the next guy, but you can't blame him for sticking with the lineup that made the comeback and took the lead |

Entertaining, but still a loss to secure a top 3 pick. |
The "tank" people really need to realize...
That WE are the 2nd worst team in the league
we are in NO danger of not being the 2nd worst team in the league.
We are NOT catching Philadelphia.
Even AT the 2nd worst record in the league, it is a literal 'coinflip' whether our pick lands top 3.
So losing isn't gonna make us "more safe" as we're a coinflip now and we'll remain a coinflip as we'll remain at 2.
So while it may help the people that want us to lose to tuck in thinking "oh another loss, closer to the pick!"
The reality is..we're remaining at 2nd, and it will remain a coinflip, a near 50/50 chance whether we keep the pick or not.
We could lose every single game for the rest of the season and it will STILL be a coinflip whether our pick stays top 3.
We aren't "safe" and won't be till the pick is announced.
Till then our chances at 2 are our chances indefinitely.. a coinflip.

No Lakers fan screaming "YAY FOR THE TANK" in one breath should ever have Durant as ANY realistic scenario for this team next year with their next.
Cause we aren't getting one with the other.

The nightmare scenario for the Lakers even if they keep their pick is that a team other than the 76ers wins the lottery.
That would mean 76ers would get #2. Lakers would get #3. Huge dropoff in talent outside of Simmons and Ingram IMO. At that point, Lakers probably left taking a Center like Jacob Poertl. |

Win or lose, I want to see our kids play. Instead we got to see Byron go with the foxhole lineup. What a terrible game. |

I love a good Dlo/Clarkson coming out party, but when Byron decides to roll with these scrubs for most of the game this is what you get. For me, it's tough to get behind that. |

our future was on fire tonight: Huertus/Lou willams and Bass
so happy scrubs like Russell, Clarkson and Randle didnt play
its not about philly catching us but its about us not catching Suns or Nets |

We could still easily fall out of the top 3 and we all understand finishing in the bottom 3 is no guarantee. But it beats finishing 4th or 5th worst for obvious reasons right?
Don't make me explain this again. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |
