|

I just realized something. I never watch NCAA basketball, like ever.
But two years ago, I tuned in to the NCAA finals game. Julius Randle was playing for Kentucky at the time. That was the only game I watched that year.
Last year, I happened to watch a random Ohio game led by D'Angelo Russell. Besides the UCI (my former school) vs. Louisville game, those were the only two games I watched that year.
Today I watched the Yale vs Duke game. Brandon Ingram is the star in Duke.
Will it happen a third time? |

If we keep our pick, I don't care who we draft. They've done a pretty decent job with the picks so far. |

Well I think the Sixers will take Simmons #1 , so top 2 either way we can nab him. Sixers are still looking for a flat out star prospect, Simmons still looks more like a star. Ingram's ceiling is getting higher and higher though - he's making it a close race |

This assumes the league isn't tired of the "process." But we know they are. Therefore, I find it unlikely they will continue to gift the Sixers with the #1 pick every year for their intentional futility....but we can keep pretending the NBA is the last uncorrupted organization in America. |

I think he is the best fit, but who knows what FO think about him
The top 2 picks have a good potential to become special players. |

I think Both Russell and Ingram will be amazing to watch...they will draw a lot of attention and ratings on tv once they attract more fans and get more recognition. I actually watched the whole Duke v.s Yale game w/o falling asleep. I was rooting for Ingram to do well. When Russell plays, i root for him to put on a show too. Ben Simmons, while he's good...doesn't really draw my attention that much. I actually fell asleep watching his last game lol. |

They haven't gotten it since 1996
Edit: And they chose the wrong player _________________ "It was tough," Kobe Bryant said. "But when it got really tough for me, I just checked myself in." |

He has always been my first choice because he fits perfectly on our team. However I'm good with whoever we get if we keep the pick. |

I was unaware Philly was getting the number 1 pick year after year. |

If only the forum had a draft thread which could be a central place where topics like this are covered. _________________ How can I get a copy of a Laker game played on Sunday, March 11, 2001 Sonics/Lakers? If you know PM me please
I would be willing to pay you for it. |

I'm fine with either of the two, in fact I'd be absolutely thrilled with either of the two. |

You obviously have no idea the kind of illegal kickbacks, bribery, super PACs and extortion are involved in the nougat and peanut industries. And Big Caramel has been lobbying against environment regulations for decades. |

FIFY
Although with Jerry C now on board after Silver applied some pressure, they may very well get the #1 pick this year, which is fine by me as long as the Lakers get the #2 pick. |

If it really went
1: 76ers
2: Lakers
I think the Sixers would take Ingram first given the front line and extra frontline people they have and coming in.
They have Embiid, Okafor, Noel, Saric coming from overseas.
I can see them taking Ingram 1st, and then the Lakers picking Simmons 2nd.
I'd hate watching Ingram suffer in Philly though. But the inside out game between him and Okafor would indeed be deadly. |

What I think will happen if the Lakers get the 1st, 2nd or 3rd picks below.
1st pick Simmons
2nd pick Ingram
3rd pick Brown/Bender _________________ Coach MWP. |

If we don't get Simmons or Ingram, it would suck big time. There is a huge drop off after those 2 guys. |

More than likely, Sixers will not get the #1 pick.
It is substantially more likely, a non-Sixers team gets it. |
