Hi LG!

I'm a longtime user at LG (since 2008 and lurking for even longer) and I have recently started a podcast about basketball (and sometimes other things) called I Heart Basketball.

I wanted to share with you all because this forum is full of the most passionate and knowledgeable basketball people on the internet in my estimation.

The first 28 minutes of Episode 2 goes into Kobe's legacy and how Bill Simmons' proclamations that "Stephen Curry is the best player in 20 years" may be overstated and affected by recency bias. As my friend texted me, "Anybody who says Kobe is overrated just needs to listen to the first 25 minutes of your podcast." Episode 5 is ALL about the Showtime Lakers era.

I hope you all enjoy the podcast and can provide feedback. Thanks so much everyone!

Thanks so much VLF! You are certainly among the group of knowledgeable LGers I thought about. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

You should see if you can lock up 24 or Golden Throat for a future podcast, it could be about the NBA and LG.

That's a great idea. I would definitely love to have any of the top basketball minds on LG on the podcast.

Hey everyone! Sorry I was out of town for a while so I haven't been able to update you all! The most recent pod was on April 7th about the March Madness championship game but I had Daily Bruins beat writer Matt Joye on to talk about it as well as Buddy Hield's draft prospects and the current turmoil going on at UCLA with Steve Alford. I know there's a huge UCLA presence here so I thought you'd enjoy!

Hey guys! I had a podcast last week the day before Luke Walton was hired that talked about the qualities that made Luke Walton the perfect coach for the Lakers (we even name-drop Lakersground!). Please check it out! We go into his background, his strategic philosophy, and much more. Go directly to the 32 minute mark for Byron and Luke talk, then we circle back to Luke at the 1 hour mark. Here's a link to SoundCloud, but you can also find the podcast on iTunes and Stitcher.

We also briefly talked about Kobe's final game between the 4 and 13 minute mark on a podcast from two weeks ago. That could be worth checking out too! Thanks for the support LG!

Hey! I enjoyed your podcast and found it very well done. I'm gonna subscribe too. Maybe you can do one one offense and how our players will adapt to the new offense and what it could be? Can't wait to hear more. Never enough Lakers media!

Thanks! Once our team is se, I will definitely do a preview of our Lakers and give a projection of how the offense could possibly run with the new pieces in place.
