Worst thing about these embarrassing losses is knowing that this clown is still going to coach the next one.

What would you have expected him to do differently tonight?

Kuz played horribly and was missing box outs, it was a rest game for Chandler and Mo isn't ready to play against NBA bigs. Who was gonna get those boards after Javale, Zu and Rajon.

his in game adjustments are beyond horrible. We start trailing and he brings in Hart who has not played good at all in forever so he can brick some more while Svi started hot but is never given a chance to get going again

1. Stagger Ingram and rondo's minutes
2. Play Lance like 8 min not 20 something, he was -14
3. Actually run a coherent offense I highly doubt that gets sold in one day, however against a far superior defense of team in Oklahoma City we ran something that resembled an offense
4. Play Svi more minutes (See Stephenson, L)
5. Don't play Mo Wagner at all until Summer League
6. Play Beasley a consistent role 18-20 min a game

He got out-coached by Ryan Saunders a guy who is just a interim for the Wolves team, that’s *** embarrassing

Can we stop blaming Luke?

He has a #2 pick out there that cannot takeover games for him. Hart continues to play terribly. Guy has to rely on Lance to be the 2nd playmaker for the team.

Player Development not on the coaching and staff???

Really??

What about getting outcoached by a dude who looks like a teacher's assistant ???

Agree with 5,6.

2,4 are devatable. Personally don't care for Lance but he has his moments.

3 is the biggest issue which I agree with. That's the long term issue that Luke should have been able to correct by hiring the right staff and not his buddies.

Luke is not only to blame here. Magic constructed this awful roster and he is to blame also.

We don't have a legit 3rd string point guard. We were -1 in the 37 min Rondo played. -14 in the 11 min he didn't play -- and note that Rondo played against starters. Part of that was Wiggins randomly catching fire in the 4th but I don't think it's a surprise.

With Lonzo out we need a Bayless type player. Stephenson and Ingram are not point guards (though in fairness Stephenson at least has his moments).

Lance need to be on the bench. He is awful. And for sure not to be in a role of backup PG. Svi is better solution but Luke is not giving him a chance. I still dont know why.

Svi is like Lonzo at his worst, he won't actually gain you any advantage, especially as the primary initiator/ creator. I like him but he's not a good backup point at this point in his career. At least Lance can get a step ahead of his defender and collapse the defense enough to create shots.

But ideally neither is playing point guard. This is where Magic (bleep) up. It'd be nice to find some point guard on the waiver wire or from the G-League or something. I don't think Caruso is the answer.

Luke is neither a great coach
Nor is this a very good roster

It's a team with a superstar that has to CARRY it to the playoffs.

We saw this in CLE.
Once LeBron was out, the team could not win.

The second best player on the Cavs last year was a proven all star.
We don't have a proven secondary all star.
Heck some teams have three.

I guessed this team would win 45-47 games.
That was without a LeBron injury.
I'm hoping we still hit that.

Regarding Luke.
I can't see him last beyond this year.
Magic will replace him.

However until we don't get a second all star we're a lower playoff seed IMO. That too assuming LBJ doesn't decline or suffer more injuries as he's heading into the last few years of his career.

I don't care about the deficiencies of the roster. They're not playing hard or smart. It's very clear there's a motivation and buy-in problem, especially on offense.

GT & Anthony Irwin went in on Luke’s stubbornness with his line ups. I agree.

Three years in and we are still complaining about his rotations and his offense. Last season Kuzma’s mom called Luke out for not running any plays for him. We squandered how many young guys under Luke? How many more will we squander under Luke. Just because Phil didn’t play any rookies (except for Luke) doesn’t mean Luke should do the same.

Luke has a lot of potential as a coach but just hasn't got the experience. Name one game the Lakers won due to his coaching.
Luke has to surround himself with capable coaches with experience. Especially in halfcourt offense. And a named shooting coach.
Agree with above. Play Beasley a lot more. Lance is ok but not a PG. But neither is Ingram. Play Svi more. Mo not ready.
Hart seems to have hit a wall and looks worse each game.
Luke has to either make some staff coaching adjustments and game adjustments.
If he doesn't he doesn't deserve to be around next year. But he was a great tank coach.
