If we win tonight's game, I will never bother Luke again. If he wins the next three games, he should get a 10-year/$100M extension. _________________ LeGoat! LeMazing! LeGend!

mhan00 wrote: | Like GT said on his podcast appearances, the Lakers’ roster can be flawed AND Luke can be squandering the offensive potential of the team. Both things can be true. Lakers don’t have good shooters (which also makes the lack of a shooting coach more glaring), but guys like GT and Cranjis have been complaining all season (multiple seasons, really) about how poorly we use the guys we do have. Our shooting hurts us, no doubt, but that doesn’t mean that Luke can’t do anything to help maximize the talent and skill sets we do have. |
I am sure Luke would say something like...
"I need to go watch the tape before I can say much but I like to let my players roam free on the court and just feel the love mannnn.. I don't run plays or let a system put my team in a cage, I keep it organic and natural man." |

good game from Luke tonight
the spot minutes for Svi and Mo were important. Keeping Zu in was a big time call _________________ I got Nothing interesting to put here |

Well, regardless of what happen from now on, I'm not gonna complain about Luke as our headcoach anymore. _________________ LeGoat! LeMazing! LeGend! |

only critique was going away from Ingram in terms of primary ball handler/playmaker. It almost cost us
He had ended up with 11 assists, but was really cooking with his play-making in the 1st half. _________________ I got Nothing interesting to put here |

Say what you will about Luke, but OKC fans can't be happy with Donavon. He coached like they already won the game in the 1st. |

I think it's the exact opposite. We ran the offense through Lonzo in OT and that worked wonders. |

Some good coaching tonight:
-Played Svi and Mo more, which made the defense scramble. They can't sag off those players. Opens up the floor for Kuz/BI/Zu.
-Pulled back on McGee's minutes.
-Stuck with Zo and PnR'd them to death late game. Zu's offense was the game changer.
Will be interesting to see what he does against the Rockets and how they try to neutralize Harden. BI's the best option IMO, but he's going to get in foul trouble. |

Was I the only one nervous about that Chandler + Moe lineup? |

He got on the team hard and even called them out in the typically say nothing post 1st quarter coach interview. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I suppose it's possible that not having all of LeBron, Rondo, and Kuzma might've made it a tiny bit more difficult to win |

Luke was really good tonight, especially with the subs. He rode those guys just long enough and got Beasley out of there right on time. Luke had a good handle on the lineups after they fell down early.
Luke also did a good job in the 4th allowing Zo to run the offense and not going to the iso BI sets.
Thumbs all the way up for Coach Walton. |

MUCH BETTER TODAY. He benched KUZ for one of his stupid selfish plays in transition in the first half. KUZ was much better in the second half.
He benched McGee for blowing box outs and not rebounding. Stuck with Zu who was fiya instead of going back to the vets.
He didn’t let BI iso and pick and roll to no avail down the stretch and had the ball in Zo’s hands. |
