I think you need some reasoning behind your claim. In short, WHY? _________________ Lakers Tickets |

I think things will look better in the 2nd half but thats just me i think Odom will start playing better the bench will start being more productive and with Phil you know things will look better at the end. |

Health is everything with this team since it's so thin. Assuming we stay healthy, I think the second half will be better because:
- 2nd youngest team in the league had the first half of the season to gain some valuable game experience
- Better understanding of the triangle
- 19 games left at home vs. 14 on the road
- Completely subjective, but looking at the schedule, there are really only about 12 games against really good teams (out of a remaining 33).
My worries:
- Kobe is exhausted and his play starts to decline
- injuries and general bone-headed play
- still a young team that doesn't win close games |

I hope to God it's yes, but if we couldn't beat these last few teams on this last road trip, then we definitely have an uphill battle in front of us. I sure hope Phil's rotations get better, and these players start going to there spots in the triangle and hittin a shot! |

If their defense improves, and offence for that matter. |

Detroit better start worrying as well huh because they lost to that very same depleted Pacers team right after the Lakers did. It's a losing streak. No need to panic, just like the winning streaks were no reason to rejoice. As expected, the Lakers are erratic, but overall farther along than what was to be expected by the halfway mark. Most reasonable folks were predicting a 43 win season and that's exactly what the Lakers are on pace for. Anything better than that is overachieving, and considering the meat of the schedule has already been played, I'd say the second half looks pretty bright....
I'll take above .500, with more home games, and a softer schedule after the All star break every day of the week with the collection of talent the Lakers currently have. Heck, it's almost worth throwing a party just thinking that this group has even managed to be as competitive as they have to date. I didn't expect to see .500 until March when the season began..... _________________ I'm On point, On task, On message, and Off drugs. A Streetwise Smart Bomb, Out of rehab and In denial. After the All-Star game is when teams usually regroup. I expect something to happen, I'm just not sure what? |

Only if the Lakers play good defense like early in the season. Lately they been playing poor defense. Get back to defense and everyone healthy, we'll be there in the playoffs. _________________ To win the title, Lakers will have to overcome the world. |
