I am really depressed about this season... Lakers fans should not be subjected to losing seasons on purpose.

I want to see some electricity. A surprise win would be nice.

Very!

Even if it's just a cameo, I want to see this guy on the floor.

I don't think he'll be out there unless Phil is desperately trying to find and x factor to jolt them out of their crappy play, or if the bigs get in foul trouble, which is likely. He needs to at least see some garbage time, phil!

I'll be pretty disappointed not to see a lot of Bynum and at least a little of Turiaf.

I don't care. Let's just win the game. The last 2 games were terribly embarassing.

I am supposed to be upset if a player that has never even practiced with the blue team, much less the starters, doesn't get on the floor? Wow, some really twisted impressions of what a second rounder, just off open heart surgery can bring to a team he has never even practiced with. No wonder you all dislike Kwame so much.

What he said. I'll trust in Phil to work him in when appropriate. Getting the kid some practice time first might (just maybe) be helpful.

All I have to say is dont hold your breathe waiting to see if Turiaf will play tonight.Phil has history of not giving any minutes to rookies.Just look at how many minutes Bynum has played this year so far.

Lakers still have Kwame and Cook to play power forward. However, the Lakers only have Kwame to play center.

Why would anyone be pissed about Turiaf not getting a lot of playing time, yet nobody wants to ride Jackson about not giving Bynum starter or backup minutes at center as Mihm is out with injury?

After all, Bynum was the 10th pick of the draft who is already projected to become the next great Lakers center. Turiaf was a second round pick who just had his rib cage pulled apart and has practiced with this teams for a couple of weeks.

Let's hear why Jackson refuses to start Bynum before we rip him for not playing a second round pick who just signed with the team.

I won't be pissed because I don't expect him to play. I doubt you'll even see him in uniform. Phil doesn't think he has the wind to play yet, plus knowing Phil, he'll wait to play him until the first game back in LA for maximum dramatic effect.

Not too pissed
Is there anyone here who has not heard Phil say over and over that he considers rookies lower than whale s**t? Does that mean with 4 rookies only two thirds of his team is not whale s**t?

For starters one guy is extremely raw on both ends of the floor while the other has played college ball and knows most of the basic fundamentals.

One has been playing against guys taller than 6'5 for about 4 years while the other has about 6 months worth of experience against big players.

You can throw the draft selection stuff out the window. Bynum was drafted as a project. Turiaf was taken for immediate help.

I think Phil knows more than any of us if Ronny is ready to play. You guys are putting way to much pressure on this guy to perform. If he's able to contribute then its all good, if not lets just be patient.

Of course I'll be pissed off. Sure thing I know better Turiaf's conditioning and level of readiness for NBA game than coaching staff.

He should play only if necessary, we can't have somebody coming of surgery and playing their first game in such a critical game in the season

This can either be a turning point or possibly a breaking point
