Amare/Brad Miller
JO/LO
LeBron/Marion
Kobe/Redd
Kidd/Felton

OHHHH...you didn't MEAN the Olympic squads. From your lineup, I was sure you meant the DREAM TEAM!!

sg Kobe 33ppg
sf Odom 16ppg 10rpg 5apg
sf Bynum 15ppg 9rpg
c Mihm 12ppg 8 rpg

Sasha will develop into a better point guard. Kobe will be Kobe. Odom will be the same Odom unless he works on his game. Bynum will rise in skills but not yet reach his full potential. Mihm plays his best ball of his career. We have the one great player along with 4 other consistent scoring starters. Lakers seriously contend for titles.

I don't expect any major deals, and I don't expect Sasha or Bynum to nab a starting role by next season, they they may gain more minutes. If you look at the free agents this summer, there ain't much that would help us without destroying the 2007 plan. All we can hope for to help this team would be minor signings and some kind of lucky trade.

If you're going under that assumption, why do you have Jason Kidd, Marcus Camby, and Chris Bosh on your rosters? Bosh has superstar potential by that time. Kidd is a superstar and Camby is a former all-star making big $$$ in Denver. How exactly are we getting all those players?

Parker can nab a few steals every now and then but other than that hes not that good of a defender

you sure?

Even if they did have options, im sure they'd wanna take paycuts out of their 10-20 millions just to play with Kobe.

Serious Sid says:

Kobe
Free Agent
Lamar
Kwame
Mihm

Dubious George says:

Kobe

Chris Paul (Waived by a one time only league rule requiring that he play for the Lakers)

KG (Aquired in a trade for Slava...They've been salivating over Slava for years)

Shaq (After two years a legal loophole voids the Miami trade)

McGrady (Simply because he can't seem to stay in one place for more than 2 seasons)

I agree and would love to have him coming off the bench, but who are we going to get to replace him?

Since Jackson... likes tall guards maybe we can get Eddie Jones back? Hes not that much of a consistent scorer but hes consistent on the defensive side and I think thats more important becuase we can make up scoring in Kobe, Bynum, LO, etc...

I'm a big fan and would love if we could get him - he'd be a good fit for us .

He's also a FA, but problem is, he's gonna be too pricey for us - other teams that aren't as concerned about the salary cap will definitely bid higher for his services, and cash is king.

Not to mention half those new recruits are already signed past 2007

if were under the assumption that everyone who's ringless wants to play with Kobe and the Lakers, why not aim higher? Screw Brevin Knight. I hear that Steve Nash is pretty good and ringless. Brian Cook is just a waste of space. We could easily get KG. He has a team option and is pretty ringless as well. Id keep Sasha cause he knows the triangle.

Kobe Bryant SG
Steve Nash PG
Andrew Bynum C
Chris Bosh PF
Ron Artest SF

Jason Kidd/Sasha Vujacic G
Chris Mihm/Marcus Camby C
Drew Gooden/Kevin Garnett F

guranteed a title.
