I don't understand why a lot of people here say the Warriors are going to sweep or win in 5. Did they not watch last year's finals? I recall LeBron literally by himself taking the Warriors to game 6. He now has a healthy Love, Irving and Frye along with Jefferson. Are they not a little better than last year?
Guys, I'm tired of the (bleep) playoffs already. Who cares which team we're rooting for and how good the games are? The Lakers aren't in it, and I'm just dying with this slow burn of a wait until the draft and free agency...
Can we work out Simmons/Ingram already?
I FEEL YA; to me the playoffs without the LAKERS =
THANK YOU SIR,,,, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER!
agree. (bleep) every team in these playoffs. I want it to be July 1st already.

I think Harrison Barnes could have a big series against the Cavs. He should have plenty of open looks and lanes to the basket.
Warriors in 7
Harrison Barnes? Who's he? I think I saw his face on the back of a milk carton recently...
And people want to give that guy the max
+1
Max deals to Barnes and Biyombo as complimentary pieces around our young core = 10 years in the lottery territory.
To be fair, Barnes once looked like a guy who had potential to become an All-Star, but was forced to settle for a lesser role cuz of the Dubs' Big 3. A couple of years ago, he had stretches in the playoffs where he was going off in small ball lineups that they had play cuz of injuries. But I think he is what he is at this point - another talented player content to just blend in and do the little things. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it ain't worth the max either.

Warriors have gotten better since. I don't think last year's Warriors team beats OKC this year. _________________ A banana is killed every time a terrible thread or post is made. Save the bananas. Stop creating terrible posts!

I they watched what happened when they were down 1-3 to the team that kept coming back.
Love is going to be abused on both ends in this series and Irving will have a great defender with length on him. while Curry takes time off on JR Smith.
Frye is going to come down to earth from 3pt line.

Why does it matter what happened last year.... GS is better than they were last finals... Cleveland is also better, but GS matches up well against the Cavs... just like OKC matched up well against GS due to their length and athleticism which gave GS problems.. Cavs have neither.
GS in 5... 6 if Cleveland manages to win one of the first two games..
If GS wins the first two its over... Cavs are not beating GS 4 out of 5 times.
Kevin Love will be exposed as the fraud he is.. he cant play a lick of defense same with Kyrie.

Not only have the Warriors gotten better, they went 2-1 against the Warriors through very, very touch defense.
That defensive identity isn't there anymore, you can thank Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving for that.
Curry had a pretty poor Finals and he put up 26/6 on 58% TS%. What do you think he's going to do this year, considering how much he's improved and with an inferior defender guarding him?

For me, the key is if they allow Dellavedova to guard Curry like they did in last season's finals. Because if they do and Kyrie stays healthy, this outcome might be different. Heck, last season's might have too.
I think the last thing the Cavs want to do is play Delly and Irving together. Kyrie will get posted up By Klay, Iggy, Barnes, and whoever is out there for the Warriors
people sleeping on Cavs, GS can't focus their defense on just LeBron this year. LeBron got more weapons he can pass to also. Cavs def better than last finals, GS also def better than last finals
The way Biyombo had his way in toronto, Draymond vs Love...

I have watched the series last year, and I know LeBron will have help this year, but I still think the Warriors wins the series, but in 7.
If the Raptors can win two in a row against the Cavs, GS is almost a lock to win. The Raptors won game on effort alone. The X's and O's were nonexistent for them. GS, on the other hand, is arguably the best in the league at both. OKC is a much better team than the Cavs, so I have a hard time seeing GS losing this series.

Seriously!
I really do not understand why he is considered a max guy, I feel bad for any team that gives the spotlight to an above average role player. He can shoot good and is lengthy on defense, but he can't pass well or make his own shot and seems to be timid and will disappear for long stretches. A definition role player. I definitely do not want him at the max.

Or maybe, just maybe, he is playing a role in a stacked GSW team? And has the potential to be a lot more when given the opportunity?

I'm not getting into a debate at the moment on who's going to win but, GS admittedly had brain farts in the last series. And fell into lulls when they were not running their stuff. Just saying it happens to the best if them.
