Kobe won't do it. TV work overshadows your playing career and you come to be known less for hoops than tv

Think Kobe has a better chance of being on ESPN/ABC rather than TNT. Just because their LA studios are across the street from Staples Center. I don't think he'll be a regular though. Probably a guest analyst from time to time. Wouldn't be surprised if he carves a post-NBA career similar to Magic, and buy ownership stakes into various professional sports teams.

Kobe has too serious and analytical of a personality to work on a show like that. Plus, I think he's too alpha. He won't want to talk about other players.

I thought he did an amazing job when he went on there before, very well spoken and articulated statements and comments.

Report: Kobe Bryant rejects offer to join TNT’s ‘Inside the NBA

How will Kobe Bryant spend retirement?

Not by reuniting with Shaquille O’Neal.

TMZ:

When it comes to the “Inside the NBA” job offer, Kobe Bryant just did something pretty uncommon for him — he passed.

As we previously reported, the honchos at the show had reached out to Mamba, hoping he’d join Charles Barkley, Shaq and the rest of the gang either this season or next.

But Wednesday night outside of a Hublot watch event in Bev Hills, Kobe swatted the whole idea down — saying straight up he DOES NOT want the gig.

Five might have been a crowd, but we’re definitely missing out on some fun moments with Kobe passing.

I'd be ecstatic if that were to happen! I'd also watch every episode.
