I'd like to consider this day a great advert for Laker fans, who I think are underrated across the NBA. They are intensely loyal and when the moment calls for it, they are as loud as any fanbase in the league.
This one had it all.
Thousands of people without tickets hanging around outside just to be there. Courtside fans behaving like maniacs. Lower bowl-ers standing and cheering for minutes at a time. The detached 300 sections starting a "KO-BE BRY-ANT" chant that ended up echoing throughout the building. Generations of fans coming together for an all-out party.
You could sense the Jazz players’ brainwaves being scattered by the noise late in the 4th quarter, despite the fact there was no pressure on them in this game.
It was a sporting moment for the ages. Hope the video does it justice.
Nice. This is exactly the type of video I wanted to see! Thanks! _________________ A banana is killed every time a terrible thread or post is made. Save the bananas. Stop creating terrible posts!
Sweet video bro. Totally hilarious how ESPN muted the boos for lebron. Some idiot was on the radio this past weekend saying that lebrons final game will be bigger than Kobe's. It makes me want to vomit when I hear these bozos who clearly have an agenda try to force us to believe that he's on the same level as Kobe. Kobe's last game was a gift from the Basketball Gods for never cheating the game...working his butt off, playing while hurt, never flopping, playing in the slam dunk championship and earning his respect. Not coming into the NBA with a blasphemous name like king james.
We might not ever see another guy like Kobe. Forget about the Kobe/MJ comparisons, it's time to put Kobe in a class by himself!

LeBron is a great player but not on level of Kobe and when he leaves Cleveland again he wont have a following as loyal as Kobe being with same team for 20 years, also if he isnt careful he will go out with a whimper like KG not a bang like Kobe
Saw my buddy sitting 12 rows from the court at around 1:35.
This was an awesome video. I DVR'ed the game on both networks and re-watched them a couple times each. Still gives me chills. Thank you for posting this.
Amazing. Thanks from one of the most loyal Kobe defenders and diehard fans of all time. The adoration and great love shown to mamba was unbelievable. And I still cant believe or wanna believe he is gone from the world that he loves.
