Think about this. We are about to do the same exact thing that we failed miserably at the past 3 years again. Sell Durant on a 17 win team.

The excuses for our free agency failures the last 2 offseasons were Kobe's contract and Scott's coaching. This free agency will put those excuses to the test. With both obstacles removed AND a salary cap spike.

He's had it good his entire career with Kobe Bryant. That ended in 2013 when, ironically, Kobe was injured trying to will another one of his poorly constructed teams into the playoffs.

Bolded made me . Genuinely funny.

Hehehe Luke is a GREAT coach so we are happy to keep him! Yall should hire mjax lmao.

Are you a GS troll fanboy or what? Who would troll the last place team while their team leads in the playoffs? How very sad for you. Go have a repeat and enjoy yourself! Meanwhile, have a nice trout.

Dang! 58? Wasn't even aware of that. Looked it up and it's tied for worst playoff loss EVER!

He came close to another 50 point loss against Utah at end of March. We were down by 52 at one point in that game.

Byron would counter that if he had a real man like Kobe in his last game, he would have won by two.

Magic better buy himself an NBA franchise if he expects Byron to coach again.

Then again, I never thought I'd see Rambis as a HC again.

I know, can't they fire Byron again so everybody can re-live the moment? Maybe "accidentally" put out the press release that Byron has been fired - again...

Magic's got the inside track on this stuff. Didn't know there was already some NBA D-league affiliate that needed a tank commander.

Letting Scott go wasn't a bad idea, but it just wasn't a good look...
If you look at our coach selections over the last five years you have to ask yourself, how seriously are the FO when it comes to doing their homework.
Brown, Bickerstaff, D'Antoni and Now Scott; it just seems very random and inconsistent.

You'd have to ask yourself, what All-Star Player would want to come to a team where it doesn't seem like the FO has a good grasp on what's going on.

I would be really upset if the Lakers get the 1st Overall Pick and trade if For Kevin Durant who just so happens to be a Free Agent. Why would you do that if you could have Simmons and Durant and?
If we could get the #1 Overall Pick, we should keep it and simply add Durant and Whiteside if Possible and we are set.

Russell + Clarkson + Durant + Randle + Whiteside + Simmons (6th Man)
Coaching Staff: Luke Walton (Head Coach) Derek Fisher (Asst. Head Coach)

Uh, how would we even trade for Durant if he's a free agent?

Nepotism and delusion sometime go hand in hand. Magic is just ridiculous. So is SAS. They both seem to believe Byron is a good coach.
