You gotta keep in mind though that beyond the arc is pretty much the only place that Kobe is not being doubled up. His reputation for hitting that shot now is unquestionable and, he has a right. It is just that in these situations that will come up on occassion Kobe has to know when to be smarter. If the Mavs aren't going to respect Cook, and give him that shot by all means give him the ball. He does that and the defense will have to shift. Suddenly he would see more real estate free'd up if he does. Anytime Kobe has a guy who is hot, for the love of God use him... _________________ "According to ESPN.com's conference projections, the Lakers will finish 12th in the West, which prompted Bryant to tweet earlier this offseason, "12th I see.." |

IMO, Kobe tried to get hot at 3 pt line and gave us a fighting chance. Still, Kobe should've limited his 3 pt attempts. Going all the way to the basket wasn't a good approach either. He got no call when fouled, and either missed the shot or turned the ball over.
Too bad Kobe's midrange shots weren't falling for him. |

I guess when your shots aren't falling, you try to go with what you feel more comfortable with. Maybe Kobe feels more comfortable with the 3-pointer. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

also i wouldnt mind kobe taking 3 pointers if he takes the easy ones from the corner, which he hardly ever does. Seems like he always need to step back a few feet way up the arch. It looks great when it goes down, its a bad shot when it doesnt. _________________ Pain is temporary, at the end of pain is success... |
