It's a win-win for the "fan". I'd hate to be a celebrity and have to deal with people like him who suddenly have a voice thanks to Twitter

I'll never understand why celebrities get worked up over one random internet fan/troll.

I didn't read what happened; but celebrities are just normal people and sometimes it's hard to ignore someone talking stuff* about you.

I'm guessing it struck a chord with him at a low point. I bet whatever Ariza said he's not proud of, but you can't take back what you type when everyone knows you, unlike the rest of us.

athletes are paid millions of dollars from their employers to perform a job and to stay away from crap like this. athletes getting worked up over words shows an insecurity that athlete has....

can you imagine Kobe, Lebron, and Dwight, reacting to the (bleep) people say about them

Good point, but Kobe and Dwight have some of the toughest skin I've ever seen.

SMH. Ariza needs a change of scenery and I wouldn't mind having him back on the Lakers @ all.

Is this what Houston culture is doing to Ariza? I remember him as this really laid back guy around LA.

He'd make a great back up for us next year behind Durant.

This works too

He needs to come back home to LA. That'll get his mind right.

This. So many people don't understand this. These are not robots, they are real people with real problems and real sensitivities. Their brain anatomies aren't different. They are like me and you.
