If DLO was smart he would learn off court lessons too. For one, the pitfalls of being a star in LA. And two, how to be successful and make money outside of basketball.
The young Lakers are so lucky that there are so many greats still associated with the organization. I mean not everyone gets offered mentoring and and not everyone wants it, but to be learning from Kobe one sec and Magic the next is amazing.

Fantastic news that Magic's mentoring DLO's game this summer. It's great that DLO is making the effort to pick Magic's brain on the PG position. Add some more of that Showtime Magic to DLO's game - yeah baby!
It's awesome how much Magic still cares about the Lakers. I'm sure it kills Magic to see the Lakers struggling like they have been the last couple years.
DLO is very lucky and I think he'll make the most out of this opportunity.

Can u imagine DLo with a baby hook? Would be magical!
that thought crossed my mind too. That finals game where Magic whipped out a sky hook in the final seconds for the win? - oh man. Beyond well-rounded there's versatility, but way out there beyond versatility there's Magic.
Russell's new mentor. Learn it, know it, live it. By January, the kid is going to be doing everything you see here. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL SEDALE TRIBUTE EDDIE DONX!

We'll see what this means exactly, could just be mentoring in the sense that he'll take Russell's occasional phone call. I doubt Magic's actually going to get on the court and work on his game.

Not on a regular basis, but I believe he can do it 3 or 4 times during the summer. But, still, being able to sit down and learn with Magic is already a great thing! _________________ ....
