In my quest to think of some realistic trade options for the #1 pick if we land it (because rumors are we want to trade it)
I've come up with a Utah trade that you'll probably hate, enjoy.

Utah gets: #1 pick

Lakers get: Hayward , Lyles

Im a fan of Haywards game, and he could be a good pseudo #1 option in this rebuilding purgatory - he could also possibly help lure FAs.
Lyles - I'm wanting the Lakers to get their hands on him, because he has the measurables and skills to be molded into an Al Horford type Center. He's longer than Horford, legit 6'10, and thick. Big hands, good finisher. There's a possibility he could play Center going forward, and with his SF/PF tweener skillset, he could kill offensively.

They wouldn't trade both for #1. I doubt they'd even trade Hayward

#1 or #2 only goes if a superstar is coming back.

I wouldn't trade the #1 or #2 pick for that package. But I' be interested in trading #3 for Hood and #12.
