looks awesome. i doubt the actual gameplay will look this good though. even if they claim thsi is in-game engine, it is not actual gameplay...especially on consoles.

still looks way better than CoD infinte warfare. only reason i will be buying cod this year is for cod4 remastered. wish i can buy that separately

man reminds me how far removed I'm from gaming these days. Havent played much of anything in years due to demanding career plus family. But good memories playing Battlefield 2 on PC with my bro and friends. We'd make a squad and be on a relentless offensive to slip behind enemy lines to capture the enemy's homebase, plus steal their tanks, and aircraft.

I stopped playing COD after Ghosts when they decided to enter the ridiculous realms.

Heck I remember playing BF 1942: Desert Combat mod. Now THAT was where it was at for vehicle play.

Just in time for the Centennial of the Great War. I pray for the day where I never have to hear "Seven Nation Army" anymore.

Definately has my interest. B4 is still a great shooter ( Although I took a year's worth of patches to get that far).

More like 2 years worth! And it's an excellent game now!

Ohhh man. Choppers were a (bleep) to learn, but so controls were so responsive and once you mastered them you were a god.

Started playing the closed Alpha. Camp&snipe increased 200%. If you're a fan of BF1942, you'll love it. If you're a fan of modern war games, maybe not so much. Vehicle play is more streamlined though glitchy if you're at a side turret. Knifing is still fun. Rifles are kinda underpowered while m1911 is GOD. Black guy characters run super fast. It's like watching Quiksilver from X-Men.

So far, I like the change of pace from the oversaturated space shooters out there.

I picked up BF1. Was lukewarm on it at first but the more I play it the better it get's. More focused on infantry combat than previous BF games and the weapons require more skill. You can't just spray and pray which is nice. The maps are fantastic and the action is intense all the time so definitely would recommend this game to any FPS fans.

This game is gorgeous even on my cheap POS tv. I wish I had a 4k monitor though.

Tank hunting is harder than previous games.

Been playing the BF franchise since 1942 and Desert Combat. This game feels really good so far. My GTX 980 can run 1440p @ high with gsync set to 60 without issue. Wish I could run it at 144

Battlefield 1942 was so much fun back in the day. The last BF game i played was BF3 and it was great. This one looks even better.

I wish I had the time...and PC specs to play this. As a guy who started out on PC gaming, I just can't get into first person shooters on my PS4.

4k Monitor, you'd need a 1080 card to keep 55fps minimum.

Yeah 4k is just way too resource intensive for games these days. I have a GTX 980 and even 1440p sometimes dips at ultra.

Yep, I got a 1060 which is ~ a 980 and even on 1080p, Witcher 3 Ultra (granted it's probably on the top fraction of 1% intensive) it will sometimes dip into the low 50's in well populated part of town. Forget about 1440 on it much less 4K.

I think the biggest beast lately was the newest Deus Ex. I couldn't run that at anything above medium at 1440p. Just unbelievably badly optimized.

Do you like it? I've been meaning to pick something up for the holiday season and it's on my radar.
