Freaking Lakers... When the era of free agents just up and going to LA ends, they get lucky in the draft. It's so ridiculous. That franchise is just handed players

Lol, they should be happy that they're a playoff team in the weak east with a (bleep)-ton of 1st round picks. Guaranteed they'll be one of the teams steamrolled by the Lebrons in future ECFs

The Celtics fanbase are more concerned with what the Lakers will be doing with their 2016 draft pick and cap space

What are they complaining about? They still get a heck of a player in Dragon Bender. Mitch himself said the gap between #2 and #3 isn't that big.

Not sure why Boston would complain about this and think that it was rigged. If anything, the NBA showed its true colors when "Basketball reasons" occurred. That coupled with the worst Lakers team in franchise history and the worst three years in Lakers franchise history, and yet not once have we gotten the #1 pick... how are we being "handed players?"

The two teams being handed players would have to be Cleveland and Philly...

everybody else said the gap is huge. Mitch had to say the PC thing incase we ended up with #3... which we didn't

I disagree. Mitch has been very high on Bender. Pretty sure we'd pick him at #3.

Agreed, that was PC thing to say. Everyone knows this is a 2-man draft. The drop-off after 1 and 2 is just huge.

So what if he's been high on him? We're NOT picking 3. What's so hard to understand about that? Just because he was high on him doesn't mean he's contemplating taking him.

This is hilarious. I mean, it's not like we jumped from 10 to 2. They should be thankful that Brooklyn is so incompetent that they unintentionally tanked.

Back in the days, Mitch has been high on a lot of things.. but Bender ain't one of them! So, I agree/ Its all posturing..

After the pick selection? That makes absolutely no sense.

Wait, what?

He's not taking Bender at #2. Bender is the BPA at #3.

Celtics get a good player either way. No one loses here.
