I disagree. Mitch has been very high on Bender. Pretty sure we'd pick him at #3. |
So what if he's been high on him? We're NOT picking 3. What's so hard to understand about that? Just because he was high on him doesn't mean he's contemplating taking him. |
Wait, what?
He's not taking Bender at #2.
Stop. |
No (bleep). That's what I just said. _________________ #CowboysNation

After the pick selection? That makes absolutely no sense. |

Sure it does. Makes no sense to give away who you're gonna select. _________________ #CowboysNation

Getting the second pick and blocking Boston from getting an elite talent yesterday was the best I've felt as a Lakers fan in years. |

It's pretty much a given that Ingram and Simmons are top 2. That's not the issue here. The issue is whether the talent drop off from #2 and #3 is reasonable enough for Boston fans to complain. It's not. |

He did sound very PC in the interview because McGee was implying that the Lakers will just end up with whoever the sims don't draft. He had to say the lakers will look at other players as well. |

If it was before, sure. After? Not so sure. That doesn't mean Ingram won't get drafted. It just means that he was excited about getting the pick either way, but would have preferred #1. |

"Handed players." We had the second worst record in the NBA. Chances were good we were going to get the #2 pick. Idiotic Boston fans. |

I saw him say that and it was in the context of being thorough with pre-draft workouts. He was saying after workouts, that gap between 2 and 3 could close.
The Lakers put a lot of weight into their pre-draft workouts when decision-making, as they should. Mitch just wants to be sure they leave no stone unturned. |

Quote: | Any trade for a star will cost their #2 pick and one of Russell or Randle, because number two isn't sufficient in itself and they don't have the other type of prospects to include in the deal. So let's say they trade #2 plus Russell for Cousins (which is highly doubtful that Sacramento would trade their star to a division rival). That would leave them with:
PG: Clarkson (resigned to a near-max deal)
SG: Lou Williams
SF: Young
PF: Randle, Bass
C: Cousins
You're not winning anything with that team anytime soon, and it's pretty highly imbalanced |
these celtic fans are smoking!!! |

after reading more of their complaints, they should be grateful, they were insanely close to being dropped to the 4th pick |

Those bastards really believed they were going to leap frog us to the top spots. They're desperate for star power because they know it's the only way they can get one. |

I guess the moral of the story for Boston is never bring Isaiah Thomas to a gunfight |
