He's everything I thought he was. A high usage non 3 pt shooting SG. Two good games don't change that.

Whoever has the hot hand. Let the younglings fight for that spot, nothing wrong with some in-house competition.

He isn't the best of the young guys, but he certainly can play the part of a leader. (see Draymond)

Don't think a team needs the same 1st option each night. They need to run plays but not be as obvious as every team know who you're going to.

Move the ball, take the best shot given, box out, rebound and defend.

It's a five man sport and there are no current superstar on the team.

Even with ball movement, you still need star players to win in this league. Those players not only make shots in crunch time, but also make plays. The Lakers will not be developing their new stars, Russell and (Ingram/Simmons) starting next season.

He's had a lot more than 2 games but keep doing you. He's still slaying whatever youre pushing.

My prediction is that Ingram will probably be the #1 option but DLO is the primary voice and most popular player with their respective demeanors. I could also see Randle being the heart of the team as some would put it with his quiet ferocity.

What is the point of this thread? We haven't even drafted anyone yet. We haven't seen any of these guys with an actual coach and consistent opportunities yet, so their potential is really unknown. These kids are not stepping on the court again in a real NBA game until November.

Seriously? Does this merry-go-round have to invade every thread?

I voted none though it would have been all of the above if that were available. I am not sure we will have a clear cut #1 option, I could see 3-4 players getting 15 or more shots most games.

This is non sense. D'Angelo has great size and length for his size at that point guard position so those are physical tools right there and he is supremely skilled. I love Ingram, but D'Angelo is definitely more well rounded and skilled overall.

How can you be so definitive??? If the Lakers play Ingram at the 2, he'd be the biggest 2 guard since KD.

As for DLO's amazing physical skills at the PG, Westbrook is faster, has a higher vertical, and stronger than DLO.

Russell has good size, but is lacking in the athleticism department which sometimes neutralizes his size advantage(especially in the paint). Ingram is extremely skilled as well. His problem right now is strength, which he should be able to improve.

No one has earned the right yet, still to early to fully evaluate all the young players we have. That being said, if I had to pick one that I would like to see carry that going forward, DloRus. I think he has the most potential out of our current players. I am not going to include Ingram/Simmons as we have no idea who we are getting and they have not played a single NBA game.

I love our young core though, I think that Shaw and Walton have a good young core to work with. Can't wait to see what they do!

Too many cats focus just on this. Dude jumps high and runs faster. It's been proven over and over that there's a lot more to it than that. I know it's the obvious things to look for initially, or more specifically, it's the sexy attributes that attract the majority of fans but, to me, a lot of times it's fools gold. I'm not disagreeing or agreeing with you, I'm just pointing this out.

I could see this potentially happening as well. Things are pretty much up in the air.
