Serbia needs some positive thoughts to keep them motivated for the second half. I suspect they’re not following this liveblog in the locker room, but if so, here’s something they can rally around:

At the end of the 1st half, Serbia is beating Kevin Durant, 29-24.

Remember how exciting that 2008 team USA team was? Was just thinking of that while watching this. That team was crazy.

Yes. 2012 also. Serbia started out like they were going to do something and then turned into the team I expected because I really didn't understand why Serbia was considered this amazing team all of a sudden. Glad I caught the Australia/Spain game because that was a good game.

Well they played within 3 points of Team USA earlier in this tournament, so I'm not sure if they were considered to be an amazing team or if Team USA was just considered to be somewhat deficient.

Ye, 2008 was insane and exciting. 2012 was second.

2016, we don't even try, and we still win.

Alright, welp time to bake a pie.

Congrats Team USA for getting it done. Now the long, basketball-less suffering until the start of training camp/pre-season begins...

Shortly after he retired from Olympic competition. That was pretty much his NBA Finals ring.....as he won't get a shot at one unless he gets traded.
