How good this movie is will rest on the actor's hands.

Tupac was such a polarizing figure that if the actor doesnt do a good job of emulating it, the movie is going to suck. Here's to hoping he does a good job; pac is my favorite rapper of all time.

'Pac was my childhood hero, I'd watch pretty much anything about him, so will definitely be checking this out.

That being said, it's the first time it's been a cinematic film with someone else playing Pac (save for a cameo in notorious), so will feel strange to see Demetrius Shipp as Pac. He does look like him from a side profile though, can he capture Pac's mannerisms will be the bigger question.

This movie will be dissected so much I don't see it doing well based on that alone. People will find a way to complain even if it's only a little bit.

A guy who has never acted before playing Pac. Another guy who has never directed a film before is the director.

As Stephen A Smith would say "HOW CAN YOU BE SO DISRESPECTFUL!?!?!?"

I remember hearing John singletary was going to help with the project but left after a couple months of filming because he said the movie wasn't going to do Tupac right.

The actor looks close enough to Tupac. I'm guessing that played a big part in casting him. He doesn't seem to have his distinctive voice though.

I just hope this is isn't another rushed copycat project because of "Straight Outta Compton's" success.
