I know it's not important to you but the last name is Žižić.
I am the fan of Cibona, the team where he is playing know here in Croatia. It would be great to see him in my next most favorite team. But I watched like 30+ of him this season. Guy is not ready to play on NBA lavel for sure. He is good rebounder , good shot blocker and great with FT. But physically he is really bad, and his game is not developed yet. Maybe after 2-3 seasons more he can be let's say 15-20 min NBA player. But for know I would skip on him as #32. |

2 - Brandon Ingram
22 - Brice Johnson*
32 - Isaiah Cousins**
* Acquires pick & Spencer Hawes from Charlotte specifically to select Brice Johnson as the Lakers look to bolster their front court.
** Lakers made a trade (hopefully including Nick Young) thus opening the door for Isaiah Cousins. _________________ A three headed monster... Jeannie, Pelinka, and Ham... another terrible season. |

Most centers in this draft that are taken in the 20-45 range will probably need 2-3 years to develop. Most drafts have Žižić going much earlier than #32. If he is still available, I think the Lakers will take him; most likely he will be gone. _________________ “When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”

HAHAHA Good one! At least now when we have Zubac you do not have to make any miracles. It's Zubac, plain and simple. |

Nonetheless, I love who we got! |

Except, he went back and edited his prediction today. Of course, he knew we would catch him in doing this. Very nice. _________________ “When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”

I had Ingram going second, check.
I had us trading with Charlotte to get Bembry at 22. Charlotte did trade, but not with us, and Bembry went 21st, not 22nd. Not too far off, right?
And I had Zizic at 32 instead of Zubac. As the draft was unfolding and after Zizic went 23rd, I was hoping that Davis or Zubac would fall to us. As I looked at it more, I felt like Zubac has more upside as a skilled, legit 7-foot center prospect. So I wasn't upset that Davis went just before we picked.
Really happy with the collection of young talent that Mitch has been able to procure over the last 3 drafts. |
