I mean, if the likes of Dumars and Reggie Miller are in the HOF then Kyrie only needs around 5 more years of play at the level he's been playing at to make it in?
Unless he goes full Steve Francis (you never wanna go full Steve Francis) for the rest of his career I think he got himself voted in with this one series.

So much this.
I honestly thought there had been some dreadful incident where he suffered and injury that ended his career or worse, because why ELSE would someone be starting this thread subject at this point . . . I mean seriously. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Honestly, it really didn't matter what he did in the regular season with play like that in the playoffs.
I think he has the best handles in the NBA today, he is a great ballhandler and tremendous finisher in the lane for a guy his size. With either hand with the shot or the dribble of course. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny

Kyrie was seen as a pretty weak #1 overall pick going into his rookie year. I think he turned out better than projected but I wouldn't really consider him a superstar.
Who is generally considered better between him and Lilliard? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Kyrie destroys Lillard, dude. Lillard isn't even efficient vs the Blakeless, CP3less Clippers. Kyrie was incredible and efficient all postseason.

Yeah Kyrie was the reason Bron led both teams in the finals in pts, rbds, assists, blocks, steals.

This James' fans always look at meaningless stats. Without Kyrie playing like Mamba , James' number are meaningless, just like last year , the year before, and so many other times...
By the way , the Warriors still got robbed, but mad props to Kyrie for taking advantage of the situation and leading the cavs to the wins in game 5 and 7 with his incredible clutch shots, differently from James who failed in the clutch last year ...

No, but as promised, I have deleted yours. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel

Lilliard was probably considered a little better before the playoffs, but Irving played so well he might have caught up with him.
This sounds right. The playoffs have really affected these pg statuses. This is a good pg combo to keep an eye on...Curry, Irving, and Lillard. My opinion is that within a few years, Lillard is going to be the proven best. Curry and Irving will #2 guys on their teams, so Lillard is the only #1 on his own team (remains to be seen how CJ goes, he's been getting more and more responsibility). I would choose Irving over Curry, he just seems tougher. I'd pick Lillard over both because he just seems to be on another level when he gets rolling.
Now, popular opinion is not this way right now. Most would say Curry is the best by far, Irving is good but is benefitting from being Lebron's teammate. Lillard isn't even an all star yet, and it's crazy to even bring him up in the conversation.
It's not clear, popularly, what is going on right now regarding Curry vs. Irving. It would have been crazy before the playoffs to infer that Irving is better than Curry. But GS lost, Lebron won, Irving dropped the winner over Curry, Curry didn't do that well, Curry got blocked in the clutch by irving...all these things are bad for the "curry is god" movement. Of course, there's this stupid push by the Lebron stans to glorify the block as the defining moment instead of the irving 3...which is CRAZY guys (do people realize how crazy that is given everything that happened in those last few minutes??). Anyway. that sums it up i think about where we are right now.
