| Not sure what it would look like. But it seems appropriate now that we are embracing the youth and moving on from the Kobe era. Obviously we would keep the Purple n Gold - but I would like to see an update to the jerseys and Lakers logo. |

Anyway, I don't fully agree with re-brand. To me that sounds like changing everything about the Lakers (minus their colors). Apologies if you're just implying a change to their jerseys. I don't agree with going back to the old jerseys either. They served their purpose. Let's leave them immortalized in history, with the occasional throwback. I say we just evolve. Sounds dumb right? Well I can't help but to think back to the early 2000's when we got our new jerseys, new arena, new coach and new dynasty. Looking back, it would almost be a shame if they were still wearing NVE era jerseys.
I do agree with most of what the OP is implying though. Every era deserves a chance to create their own identity. Re-brand is a little strong. A new look to go along with our new coach, young talent, training facility and post Kobe era would seem appropriate though. |

I do think an update to the jersey is ok, with some small modern updates to our logo. I just don't know what I would change. I would need to see some designs first to see if it makes sense. Would not want anything major tho

Yes u r reading my mind....Nothing drastic or crazy. Keep the foundation of the Lakers logo - just update it. We just closed an era with the retirement of Kobe. Now it's all about the young guns. They should have another jersey style to wear. Something to call their own. Again, nothing drastic..but a subtle change/upgrade would be sweet. |
