Brandon Ingram has right patella tendinitis. He didn't finish practice. Status unclear for tomorrow.

Time to shut him down and unleash MWP.

Save him for the playoffs.

You don't want him to play for the next 3 years?

I want him to have fresh legs for 2021.

Of Freakin' Course. Right when he's showing considerable improvement. Right when Luke wanted him to become a leader... Right when he was going to show Wiggins what a future 2-way star wing looks like. Right when he was gonna dunk on KAT and pull the rim down in honor of Shaq... Right when he... well you get my point lol...

They say he is "probable" for tomorrow; so maybe this is their excuse if they want to tank hard.

"Had to take him out of the game. Precaution for the banged up knee."

Although it's pretty obvious they are tanking hard already

Honestly, I was surprised and impressed that he made it this far without a meaningful injury while logging heavy minutes for a rookie. The concerns about his weight as it relates to his play were legit, but you can't deny that he's a tough kid that held up very well in his first professional season for his size (or lack thereof).

I seriously had that same thought! The conditions were right for us to win tomorrow. The new management doesn't do anything halfway, it's obvious. If we are tanking, then go HAM!

If DLO, Ingram and Zubac start scoring a lot tomorrow; Luke is going to take them out and run with:

Ennis
Clarkson
Nwaba
Brewer
TRob

Then not to make it look too obvious, he will take Clarkson out and insert MWP

I think that's the 76ers' development plan for Embiid, isn't it?

Seriously, he has played huge minutes for a rookie! Big props to BI!

So impressed with his improvement lately. His dunk on Giannis after the pushing match was a signature moment. Still can't believe he barely makes it into the NBA rookie ladder each week (current ranked 10th among rookies).

It's really not that surprising, the media refuses to acknowledge any Laker positivity.

D'Angelo was left off the 1st Team All Rookie for 2016. They chose Okafor for 1st team...

Ingram is #2 (among rookies) here: Link

Good to see him jump from bottom 10 to 2.

Didn't like how the writer quotes Lebron leading me to think 'because Lebron said it, we should put more weight into our rankings...'

He's been disparaged all season from these writers.

Much, much better rankings. The guy from the KIA/NBA rookie ladder hates the Lakers or something. He seldom showed any love for DLO or Ingram the past couple of seasons. Not even a honorable mention for Zu.

To think that his legs/body could handle those minutes is just stupid

I thought he was going to play around 20 maybe 25 mpg tops this season.

I just think it's super important that Ingram and DLo go into the offseason with knees that can be back to 100% in a few weeks. Bcuz they need to be able lift and get stronger/more athletic. Zach Lowe said the same thing on his podcast with Ramona

I think that has to be priority #1. I'd lower both their minutes

I feel the same way. I'd go as far as to say, I don't want Ingram playing summer league either. Besides the fact that it's horrible basketball, I don't want Ingram taking a break from strength, agility, and skill training. I want them healthy and training.

Yea I wouldn't mind that. But in SL he can test his new moves, new jumper - so it's a good barometer of how his skill-work is going. It's only a 2 week tourney, so I think he's good w it.

There are plenty of scrimmages back in LA he can get in with other pros, and he doesn't have to worry about some out of control scrub or fringe nba player.

Time to activate Deng again. If he catches fire(or just a light spark) it could revive his trade value.

Shut him down for 2 weeks and up his calories to 12,000 a day. I would honestly just let him play the last 2-3 games of the season.
