I bet a lot of LGers who swore he grew a couple inches are pretty sad right now lol.

Why does it matter, they don’t play the game with the top of their heads.

Don't ask me. Ask the dudes who seem obsessed with the idea that BI has grown a couple inches since he was drafted lol.

Because BI can do no wrong, including growing!

I believe Mike Trudell was the one who actually started it. If not then he was very close to the source that did.

Ya it was Trudell just off of his own eye test. Still 6'9.5

Did Brandon mentioned if he worked out with Kobe this past summer like he intended to?

Got to talk to him along with a few other people today, and he's a really nice and likable guy.

I asked him if he expected to do a lot of his work out of triple threat/high post situations, and he said that while that's where he's most comfortable, he's gonna show a lot more than that and wants to score from all over.

Thanks GT. That's good to hear.

Yeah, that was my analysis on Ingram. He's a triple threat guy, not an instinctual catch and shoot player. It's a bit old school, but we'll see. I'm hoping he can be a 34-35% 3 point shooter on more attempts, but that might be a stretch this year.

Ok you experts, let me see if i get this right. Triple threat from high post means that BI will catch the ball around the free throw line - 3pt line area, square up and either shoot/drive/pass... right?

High post will be usually around the FT elbows. Not 3s. Either looking to shoot off catch, off the dribble, etc. Guys like Melo, DRoz operate a lot from those areas.

Crazy how hype and rumors start. BI said himself he's still 6'9. Hopefully his game will still grow, but I was definitely more hopeful about his ability to dominate hearing all this 6'11 talk. Gonna temper my expectations now.

Looks like Zo is 6'6, Ingram is 6'9, Deng is 6'8, Randle is 6'9-6'10 and Brook is 7'1-7'2. No doubt Randle has grown since his rookie year.

Odd grouping only b/c Deng is in there. Tall team though!

Will Ingram's 3% and 3 attempts go up significantly this year? That and FTs are what will determine whether he is a 12ppg or 18ppg player.

No way in hell he's a 12 PPG scorer this year. And I only say that because at minimum, for better or worse, he's gonna be getting enough shots up to at least score 14-15 PPG even if at below average efficiency. All indications point to him being #1 or #2 on the team in FGA.

I don't think he's playing that many minutes. Remember he just turned 20 and his body is a work in progress. Plus, it looks like they're trying to squeeze in Kuz at SF too (and you still have Deng, Brewer).

This is why i asked about 3%, # of 3s, FT%. My prediction is in the 15-16ppg range, but if he can increase those 3 categories, maybe he can hit 17-18ppg.

Yeah so much for the '2 inches growth' hype on Ingram.

Although Zo almost looks 6'7" when you go eye to eye with this group. Could be the shoes? Randle does indeed look taller than he did a couple years ago.

He played 35 min or more 18 times last year and scored 20 twice. 6 of those games he scored in the single digits.
