I would've liked to see more Deng down the stretch. With Ingram off the floor we win this game handily.

If a shooting coach could have just helped the team with that alone.. we'd have a couple more wins at this point

I liked the fact that after getting his shot blocked on three straight possessions and going out briefly with a cheek contusion, he came back in just as aggressive at attacking the basket.

Yea he was even smiling after coming back and continuing to attack --- he smiled after getting fouled again. Kind of like " yea you can knock me down and stop me for a minute , but I'm that dude, I'm coming back and doing what I want"

The kid is tough as nails despite being rail thin. That and his work ethic will take him a long way. One of these days, The FO and Luke need to find an effective shooting coach for BI and the rest of the team, though.

Now you know what the dozens of complaints I get sound like. Trying a bit of humor, since the last time I asked you directly you caught feelings. So I will take your advice. When you bog it down, I will just quietly give you a break.

I don't bog anything down.. try moderating me with something valid, what you're attempting to do now is senseless. I suspect you're trying to bait me into giving you something to justify a ban. I won't. =)

Actually, it's the Mods job to point out when people become essentially one-note posters which is both irritating to other posters and a form of trolling.

I am not sure that the powers that be care if he learns. He seems to always get a pass.

I didn’t like that. If I run the ball up the middle 3 plays in a row and get stuffed, then I am an idiot for doing it a 4th time. I get that he is young and not confident in his shot, maybe a drive and dish would be a good alternative.

Actually I thought he shot that nice pull up from the elbow shortly after.

Whenever he pulls up from the free throw range he is automatic. Anything further than that, not as much but that 15 footer, he is automatic from there and that shot is always available for him.
Sometimes the drive all the way to the basket just isnt there and 15 footers are easier to take sometimes and he can use the screens as well, doesnt need to ISO every time. Wish he would recognize it and use it more often. More use of a 15 footer would make him a lot more effective and less reliant on ISO's. Would also make ISO's easier as defenses wouldnt find him so predictable and would need to respect that shot.

If we're getting to the point where a 19/6/5/2/2 game on 50% shooting is being nitpicked, then I'd say he's at least at a decent place in his development.

I honestly wonder what his on/off numbers will look like now that Brook is out and Zo has a pulse. Would be nice to have some context behind those numbers.

He doesn't always draw that second defender, and sometimes he forces the pass anyway.

It's situational.
