Damnnation not a good sign when the youngins like BI and Lonzo heal slow as a 14 year vet would...LeBron is thinking about why sign up with a bunch of softies in LA.

As frustrating as the injuries are, they haven't been nearly as frustrating as seeing posts like this over and over again. No rational thought at all, just raw emotion, shortsightedness, and blatantly unfair accusations against the training staff for supposedly "babying" the players, or the players lacking in toughness.

And as I've continued to point out, who's fault would it be if a player came back too soon and reaggravated the injury? The training staff. Then folks like you would blame them. Are we ever going to get to the point where we stop pretending that we have medical degrees or know what in the world is going on behind the scenes?

1. LeBron isn’t coming nor do we need him
2. Ingram’s durability is fine.

It’s not about “healing slow”...certain injuries take time to recover from. We’re not talking bout a bruised thigh it’s a groin strain...

If we were fighting for the playoffs, BI and Lonzo would not have sat out as long as they did.

Especially now, its really clear we are not making the playoffs, no point taking an unnecessary risk on Ingram which might very well screw up his entire career, given what's at stake at the moment ( i.e nothing!)

Lol Lebron wants no part of the West unless it's with a ready-made powerhouse like Houston. I'm fine if they shut BI down for these last 12 games so he comes back strong next season. He's always shown himself to be tough and a hard worker.

I'd like to see BI and Hart back so we can finish the season strong, and I'd love to see this team push towards 40 wins in this last stretch of winnable games. That said, I'd rank none of this above making sure BI's fully ready to go, and not jeopardizing the health of his legs to do so.

Me too but I don't know when the team could get another practice in on this road trip. They have games every other day including travel time. I'm not expecting him to play on this road trip at all now. The schedule for the rest of the season is tight. They play their last 13 games over 16 nights including 3 back-to-backs.

Maybe he could practice with the G-League squad when he's ready to resume court work.

At this rate he probably won’t play on this road trip, seems like there is always a issue popping up won’t be surprised if there is a setback

Hopefully Ingram is now more appreciated and not trashed as often.

The Lakers desperately miss him.

Apparently he is. Lonzo can’t score for (bleep).

Not if he has to guard the opposing PG

I’m much much more confident in Brandon Ingram’s defense continuing to improve because we’ve seen him continuously get better on all aspects of defense (and offense) throughout his progression.

Not too confident about Lonzo improving his shot yet. I’ve maintained this position all year which is that Ingram is clearly our most valuable prospect and will end up as the best player from this young core.

Ingram would be a point forward. He wouldn’t be guarding “PG” opponents unless Luke deployed him in game (e.g. against Lillard).

I think we've missed him the most down the stretch of games. Three of the losses have been games where we've (bleep) the bed down the stretch offensively (vs POR, vs MIA, @ NOP), because our best bet at an on-ball scorer right now is a 5'9" dude.

9 of the last 10 games have been against teams over .500, and they've played pretty well considering the injuries, but he'd have been enough to make them 6-4 rather than 4-6 in this stretch.

Agreed, at the end of the game you can give it to BI and have him go attack the rim. It is when the ISO game comes in handy.

So what’s the word on his status for tomorrow, I’m willing to bet that he won’t play this month anymore, just way to much flip flopping by the Lakers in regards to Ingram’s health.
