All I can see is Magic waving his arms, shaking his head, and giving the throat slash signal... 😂 |

Doubt it. The Lakers are just gonna keep teasing people without revealing how long they (already know) he'll be out.
Just a bunch of "he shot around today" "he looked good today" "but we'll see how he feels" etc stuff, like they pulled with Lonzo when they already knew they weren't bringing him back till after ASB.
The Lakers already know when he'll be back imo, they're just keeping the narrative that he could 'be back at any time'. But I have a feeling they already know he won't be and have an idea when he's really going to return. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Friday: left ball is still high
Saturday: left ball has descended by .02 cm (possible for Monday)
Sunday: left ball has stabilized at lower level (probable for Monday)
Monday: left ball has ascended by .03 cm (ruled out for game) |

A groin strain is a either a tear or rupture of the tendons that attach your leg to your pelvic bone on the inside of your thigh. These are the muscles that let you flex your hips to squat for a jump, or rotate your leg out to change direction on a drive. Essentially these muscles perform the same function as ligaments in your ankle - and a strained groin is the roughly the equivalent of a high ankle sprain (which can be partially torn or fully ruptured ankle ligaments).
it's not just that he got kneed in the junk - he basically has something akin to an ankle sprain in his hip joint.
one of the differences of course is that you can't really tape up your hip like you can an ankle _________________ LBJ + AD = More rings

I think the Lakers already know when they're bringing him back and all this "he looked good today /maybe" crap is just them delaying telling like they did with Lonzo while constantly teasing his return.
I'm very certain they knew they weren't bringing Lonzo back till after ASB. But they kept teasing it to keep the story going and keep people checking in on the daily about it.
They're doing the same thing with Ingram. They know they weren't bringing him back this road trip but are continuing to tease it like they were going to. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I have no doubt they would have hit 40. I was confident they could win just about any game. Now, they just don’t have the bodies to get it done...they miss Hart’s 2 way play and they miss Ingram’s decision making, late game execution and just the attention he commands from a defense which opens up things for the lakers. |
If you add up the games missed by injuries, games where Randle was coming off the bench and getting very few minutes, and the games where Luke had brainlock (not taking the ball out of Lou Will's hands for example), this team would be right there in the hunt for the 8 seed.
What a great year though. Next year is going to be amazing. |

I really appreciate all the info. I had no idea about the severity of this type of injury.
Thank you for breaking it down so well. |

They know they weren't bringing him back this road trip but are continuing to tease it like they were going to. | i'm not so sure about that with these kinds of injuries. you have to be cautious and wait for the player to tell you if they feel any issues after a good workout or practice. if they still do, then you sit them until they no longer feel that pain. there's a different type of pain, one where you're still hurt and healing. and the other where you've been out for awhile and your muscle's are not as strong and you're not as flexible. if you feel the second kind of pain, you can play your way back into shape. if you feel the first type of pain. sit down until you dont. |

Yep, it sounds like all these reports are a cover-up for the eventual “I’m shutting him down for the rest of the season”. |

Probably that weird dude's fault with the overbite from the training staff mishandling BI or BI is just soft....sucks that because of that now the Sixers will be gifted a top 10 pick now unless we will win out when Bi and the others return |

Are you the guy that's scared to give Philly the 10th pick, but not the 11th? |

Probably was me or another like minded pessimist.....why give the Sixers another bargaining chip in the LBJ sweepstakes if they add another draft stud to their buddig nucleus. |

As long as we don't get super lucky in the lottery and give the (bleep) (bleep) ass Celtics a Top 5, I'm good. Actually, my silver lining on the dark cloud of giving Philly a high pick is that it will make the Sixers stronger opposition every year against Kyrie and Hayward in the playoffs. I agree - over 40 wins IMO. They'd have slammed Barkley's fat yapper shut and possibly sniffed the playoffs this year.
I'd really like to see this team fully functional and beating everyone once again to close out the season before summer starts. |

Even 35 wins (we would need to go 3-6 in last 9) would be a semi-shocker for me. Great sign that we are improving. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

How many wins are you expecting next year if we add LeBron and PG? |
