BI had a pretty terrible year 1 and then really improved year 2.

One would think that Lonzo should similarly be given the benefit of doubt in terms of improving, as he managed to put up better overall stats than BI did year 1.

All of our high pick young guys have really improved in year 2. DLo was even a good amount better, looking at lineup splits(with no talent next to him)
Julius improved and as well in year 3.
Improvement is real. I think it’s real for any talented player, so our lower picks should improve a good amount as well

Yeah. That's why you rarely see the Most Improved award go to 2nd year players; it's implicitly understood they will have vast improvement from year 1-2.

LBJ is like 1" taller then BI in that photo - used the edge of an envelope to make sure it wasn't just framing of the photo creating an illusion
Noticed that in the other photo posted today also that had LBJ, Zo, Kuz and BI - Lebron was slightly taller than Kuz and had a noticeable 1" or so on BI

I guess he's not 6'8.. Cause I would expect Kuz to have at least 2 inches on Bron, and Ingram to have one inch on him. I don't see a difference in height for any of them.

I think all of them are 6’9.

In the first photo
LINK
Lebron looks noticeably taller than either BI or Kuz - however, LBJ is standing a little in front of the other 3, which creates a depth difference

In the 2nd photo https://www.instagram.com/p/BoIE81_nnUi/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet
Bron and BI are standing shoulder to shoulder and the photo is framed squarely

Lebron has a buzz cut - while BI's hair is thicker. However, if you look closely, you can notice the background (white) showing between the top of BI's scalp and that 1 braid that's flopped over from the other side.
So, the top of BI's scalp to the top of Lebron's scalp is a good inch - using a straight edge to measure

Kuz is taller than BI

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DWM-p6sVAAAkI-4.jpg

Bron measured 6'7.25 without shoes, so in many shoes he's 6'8.75.
BI's addidas are thin soled I think
https://twitter.com/SpectrumSN/status/1044314162984144896

I think BI is 6'9 flat and Kuz close to 6'10

@PK.. You'll also notice that Kuz is standing with his legs further apart, which would also account for why Kuz doesn't look taller.

@KIROE, good point, I never considered shoe type as a factor. And yea Kuz has always seemed to have an inch on Ingram. I was just thrown off by Bron looking as tall as Ingram and Kuz.

Kuz is definitely taller than Bron by about an inch. Kuz is 6'10 legit. Bron and BI look the same height. Both look about 6'9 but about 60lbs of pure muscle difference.

Glad to see BI seem much more confident with the media this year.

I think a big reason why he isnt as hyped as other is hes just so quiet and lowkey.

beasley said it best. Silent killer. BI got the same drive as Kuz and other great young guys, but he's just naturally quiet.

Pretty good balance when you have stars like kuz and bron on the team.

I keep watching Brandons spectrum interview because its getting me excited. He says "it's time" and "I'm ready". He talks about being so excited about getting after it defensively. And he talked about the work he put in on his three point shot. I really believe we are gonna see a huge jump from him. He feels so good about his body and his mind. Brandon is primed. His new found confidence in his interview was so refreshing. Im pumped.

Yep, but as usual I saw fans especially from other forums complain that he still looks very skinny but you can still see that huge load he put on his body from all that work out, people think just because players work out, you’re muscles are supposed to look like gigantic big looking guns lol

Besides the personality differences, he’s also 2+ years younger than Kuz, that’s huge. BI does sound more confident in the spectrum interview and seems to be getting more comfortable with who he is as an individual

Brandon will always look skinny. That's his body type. People make the mistake of equating big muscles means strength. It doesn't. And honestly you don't want big muscles on Brandon. Wiry strength is the optimal expectation. Adding bulk will only slow him down and can cause injury. Plyometrics and core. Explosion and functional strength. That will unlock his fullest potential. That's what i believe.

Well he has a long way to go explosion wise. He did say he worked on his core and stabilizing strength a lot this summer , so that should help

He might not ever put on that much weight.. which is fine since he's more of a perimeter player anyway. As long as he adds strength to his frame he should be fine.

I like what he said about defense. Truly think he can excel on that side of the ball.

Between him, The Junkyard Dog, Lonzo, KCP, those is some dogs right there.

Yeah, I recall George Gervin looking pretty skinny in his hay-day and he was pretty awesome as a player, so it’s not the end of the world if he doesn’t look like LeBron in terms of body-type there are players who still dominate the game without having a huge pack of muscle, Stephen Curry is a good example.

Espn exclusive interview with Mcmenamin Lebron described his teammates

Lonzo: destined for greatness
BI: look out he’s next.
Kuzma: steak of draft. Transformed his body
