I can't wait for us to shut the talking heads the f*** up with that 6th and 7th seed talk. Especially Jalen Rose.. Lonzo, BI, and Kuz collectively will be just as important for us as Bron.

I couldn't agree more. I can't wait for them to eat crow. Jalen has 81 reasons to hate on us lmao.

You also forgot we prevented him from winning a title in 2000 when he was with the Pacers
One thing I noticed from BI's interviews on media day is that he was asked about Micah Lancaster a couple of times, and he seemed to try to back away from the focus on it, basically just saying he worked out with a bunch of different trainers. Maybe Lancaster was just the only one posting a whole bunch of videos.
He's kind of become the poster boy of the whole dribbling around cones and catching props in mid air training method that a lot of highly respected players around the league appear to be clowning on, so maybe he doesn't want to be known for that when in reality it amounted to just a small fraction of his overall training this summer.

I was one of the people who asked him that, and that's exactly what I thought when he answered the way that he did.

Could have sworn GT asked the question.
It almost seemed like LeBron/Cuffsthelegend got in BIs ear about "scammers." Lol. Their words not mine.

I saw (heard) the exchange and got that exact vibe.
If Dame's video had not come out I think his reaction might be different.
Personally, I think players should be open to various training methods/regimens/routines. Dame can "clown" but if it helped Oladipo, Kyrie, and BI even a little it's valuable.
Another factor is BI has put in work with other trainers/mentors (Stackhouse connenction) to focus on Lancaster's methods might be a slap in the face to the other guys that have trained him.
Good question, GT. But he did kind of push-back on it a bit with his answer and his facial expressions.
I also loved how confident he was especially on the Spectrum interview. I just hope he doesnt "press" early-on. HE said the right things but even Kobe was guilty of this ...

Pete...I wanted to give you major props for being prepared with questions and asking highly insightful ones too. A bunch of reporters there were making up questions on the fly and stumbling around.
Your questions were the most professional imo and a couple of times the players, like BI, went away from the question which had me thinking...I wonder what Pete would have followed up with.
Awesome job my dude...I'm rooting for you big time. _________________ "If You're Afraid To Fail...Then You're Probably Going To Fail."

He's obviously complimenting him but lowkey sounds like he's calling BI a thief
He's obvious high asf in the interview but Beaz has a funny way of phrasing his sentenced _________________ “Life is too short. You have to keep it moving.” - Kobe

signs that he still needs to mature. Imagine the way Kobe would have answered that question.
would have actually taken a strong route the opposite way and defended Micah.
Last sentence might have been "people need to stop acting like Micah is unproven..He trained Kyrie, Karl Towns, and the most improved player in the league last year. I want to be the most improved player in the league"
