Damn really?

lol...no. That would be ridiculous. It's one game minimum for the punch, though my prediction is that it'll either be that one game with an additional fine for the way he confronted the official, or even two games. I'm hoping it'll just be the one game and the fine, though.

Why don't you guys lay off of BI. Yes his shove was dumb move, but he's young and will learn from his. Rondo on the other hand has been in the league for several years and throwing punches like an idiot. BI wouldn't have thrown that punch if Rondo didn't start crap with Paul.

Pual put his finger in Rondo's eye.. What was he supposed to do?

I don't see how you can find fault with anything Rondo did.

I dont know, maybe do the same thing to him? At least you won't get suspended several games for an eye poke. This is a guy who is supposed t have a 'high basketball IQ' remember? Rondo getting suspended is a much bigger loss than BI.

Eye poke is no different than a punch tbh

Hopefully, now BI will focus more and see that he needs to channel it. I think to be honest, BI plays way better when angry. That's where the Redgram, came from. Need to see more of Redgram on the court, of course.
I do wish he didn't do that but he was protecting his teammate. That will earn him respect with Rondo, for sure, at the least.

Do they give more games for cheap shots? Hope not. Can't have Lance get more minutes.

Bron, Luke, & Rondo better start giving the ball more to BI or BI might run up on them too. Luke has done a terrible job so far with BI's minutes and not giving him plays as a primary ball handler out of the PNR. I understand LeBron always having the ball, but having Rondo dominate the ball too practically makes BI the 3rd option on offense in the first unit since the only time he gets the ball is to score and not letting him show any of his playmaking skills. Hopefully with Ball back in the starting lineup and BI back from his suspension will naturally make the offense in the half court much better.

He's not gonna get spoonfed the ball like he did last year, nor should he. The ball had no problem finding him when he got in the mix in the third quarter.

Given how hard the NBA has come down on fights recently, I would be pleasantly surprised if its anything less than 5 games.

I think when you run over and throw a punch you get more games than if you were in the middle of it when it blows up.

Talking about making all star games and then coming in from behind to punch players getting into it?

Weak mind. What a shame.

Expected more from a #2 pick.

stop. Would you call him a "fake azz punk" to his face? If not....yeah.

Really? Cause I remember Melo throwing a punch and running backwards the entire length of the court. Was that the fight you were referring to? I didn't see running away from anyone. Granted what he did was bone headed, but the fake tough guy thing doesn't apply with him.

Definitely doesn't fit the fake tough guy act. He's tough, you could tell it's there. It's probably that he gets picked on about his weight. Might also be why he needed to be tough. Remember, he almost got into it last season as well. He just needs to learn to channel it better.

he instigated the biggest fight we've had in a while. intimidated the ref. sucker punched cp3. on top of this being a big TV game.
a punch landing is always a couple games, we'll see if they determine it landed, you can clearly see it did from one angle.

That's why they traded dlo. For dlo's safety.

nah, definitely is.

If you going to fight, you better do it right like Chris Childs did to a baby Kobe. Ingram, just like melo pulled some fake tough guy crap.

Throwing sucker punches don't make you some tough guy.

Chris Childs literally sucker punched Kobe. So nice job with the contradiction in so few words.

I'm around these guys all of the time and Ingram would've been my #1 pick for "Laker most likely to sprint into a fight" long before this. Him being quiet and skinny gets miscontrued for something that he's not. He's a tough kid who grew up somewhere where he had to be that way.
