Yea.. um. A starting line up long term that doesn't feature your best players doesn't make any sense to me. I was only saying he should earn the starting spot back, which I would fully expect.

Ingram won't be coming off the bench this season, or be relegated to a sixth man role lol..

You're probably right.

That being said, was Harrison Barnes better than Iggy in 2016? It's not always about the "best" player starting imo. I actually dont care if it's BI or Kuz. Just hit your jumper whoever it is.

That kinda proves the point.

Harrison Barnes started cause he was 23 and at the time, a huge part of their long term plans. If Iggy was 23 too, he could have been starting over Barnes 100%.

Ingram is starting. Even if you think he doesn't stick on the team long term, they ain't killing his trade value.

Barnes started because he royally sucked coming off the bench while Iguodala played the same as a starter or sixth man.

Same with Ginobli. All those scrubs who started over him played better as starters than they would have coming off the bench wile Ginobli’s game (and ego) was stable enough to play well in both roles.

Yes, but had a bad game tonight. This is all such small sample size nonsense fun.

His offense has been very inconsistent game to game.

We may have to wait for a time to get one.

Our only hope is for Ingram to play better, the Pelicans to suck and AD to get frustrated and demand a trade here.

We should have traded him for KL. We won't get anybody now.

Nobody worth giving bi over.

Tbh, his defensive improvement is worth keeping around through his shooting struggles.

Once again he decides not to show up. Hardly even noticed him out there.

BI alone wasn't enough to get him

Could have really used BI’s presence down the stretch against the Spurs.

Even if he is, they are no where near a lock to make the finals, Bucks and Raptors look like they are more ready to take control of the EC right now... but it’s a long season and like us Boston will eventually start piling up wins but I’m not sure if they can get to the finals as easily as previously thought.

BI is shooting over 50% and talk over here is he hasn't shot well? Look at his minutes 26 and 28. He has 16 points first game and 12 points second. He could easily get 20 if the minutes and plays were run for him, even without a 3 ball.

No one has shot well from 3.

I can go further in defense too, first game 2 blocks 2 steals, 2nd 1block 1 steal. And he can defend well.

I truly don't understand the people that say he's shooting poorly, when has only shooting 3s been shooting poorly?

Yeah it would’ve taken Hart and probably Lonzo.

For a dude who we don’t even know wants to play with Lebron and for the Lakers.
But yeah keep pushing that we should’ve traded Ingram for Kawhi narrative.

Odd, how the narratives shift.

First it was he can't play with Bron, we should trade him or he needs to come off the bench.

Then he plays with Bron, and then it's.. He plays well with Bron, and the analytics guys predicted he would (which they did).

Now we're back to he isn't a natural fit next to Bron.

Whenever he doesn't play for a while the commentary in here starts taking odd turns.

why don't we stick with the original narrative/fact that we all have known about playing next to Bron. you need to be able to shoot. period.

People are just basing the anti talk on his stats which right now currently doesn’t look Impressive right now, but his D has been a very nice pleasant surprise.. I’m expecting the 14PPG average to Improve to 21-22PPG because he isn’t really being used as a focal guy like last year because we have more options on this team but once he settles in he will start being comfortable out there no matter how the game is being played.
