Tonight will be an easy win. Kemba has played Lebron 26 times and has never beat him in a game.
Charlotte doesn't have any above average wing scorers like San Antonio and Houston.
Our next game (Washington) should be interesting though. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Personally I can't wait to see him back on the court. He is a big piece of the Lakers overall roster puzzle for a successful season. Same with Rondo. Key players are missing and the Lakers are still trending in the right direction. | |
Its never been more clear than the last 3 games or so how much we miss Ingram on offense. Too many possessions guys have no clue what to do when LeBron isn't out there. |
Remember when Rondo was hurt BI played backup "PG." With BI out we have Lance running backup PG. Yeah. |
I must admit, I love when BI plays the point. I really think he plays the position well. |
Really? I mean, he's ok at it. I see him turn the ball over or almost turn it over a lot for someone who is supposed to be a PG. Particularly, on the dribble. |
PGs typically lead the league in turnovers. James Harden and Lebron James are among league leaders in turnovers per game. What you’re describing is typical and common for anyone that handles the ball a lot. |

Yes. But it’s the type of turnovers. He seems to get stripped a lot on his dribble droves. |

Yes and that happens to the best of them, even seasoned vets such as Lebron James and Russell Westbrook |

Umm you saying Westbrook turns it over in response to Ingram turning it over is the strawman.
Lonzo misses easy shots. “Yeah, so does Steph Curry. They all do.”
BI is not a good point guard. Among starting PGs he would rank near the bottom. Compared to other point forwards, he is ok.
The turnovers he makes, if he were a true PG, would likely get him benchd. |

I was making a point that the type of turnovers you were describing are typical of any player* that handles the ball. Never did I once say Bi is a good or bad point guard. It would be a senseless argument to make because we just don’t know yet.
All we know is that he had the best stretch of his career when he played PG last season. |

Seeing Hart get abused just reminds me how much we need BI back in the starting lineup |

I don't know..
Hart might not be the answer at starting 2 but that doesn't automatically mean BI is.
The Ball just moves a lot more when Hart is on.
The team as a whole forces it a lot less on offense. If BI can incorporate that into his game, then we may be onto something. |

I think the answer is BI is the better defensive fit at sg and Hart is mostly better as the offensive sg. |

Can you imagine what this thread would be like if BI had gone 2 for 8 from the field? |

Depends. In that scenario do the Lakers win by ~30? |

That would be pretty haterish then.
If your team wins by 30, and BI was a +30 on a night he goes 2-8 I would think most logical people wouldn't be too upset. Especially since 2 of his teammates got triple doubles.
I disagree with your premise. I think it would matter. |

Literally every game the Lakers have won this year, if BI had less than 20 points and/or shot less than 50% from the field, this thread was still calling him a terrible fit with Lebron who should be benched and/or traded.
It's been so toxic and unbearable to the point where even after wins, I'm hesitant to check this thread this year
Hell it's so toxic that if BI has a good game, but Kuz doesn't, they're saying BI and Kuz can't play together and so BI needs to be benched because he's playing well at the expense of Kuz.
The bottom line is that Laker fans need a scapegoat, plain and simple. Every year. Last few years it was Julius and DLo. In the Kobe/Pau days, it was Pau, and before the Pau trade, it was LO.
Laker fans always feel that the team should be at a championship level regardless of the talent on the roster, and the fact that it isn't is always "someone's fault". The solution that dumb fans always resort to is getting rid of the guy who isn't performing up to the level of being the "missing piece" to a championship level, no matter how unrealistic that expectation may be. Despite having the first winning season in god knows how long, the Lakers are still a bonafide 2nd all-NBA player away from being a championship contender. Since Ingram isn't that, apparently he's the "reason" for all of the team's problems, and so he's gotta go. It's stupid. |

I think he'll start to drop 20 point games on the regular after the all star break. I would't be surprised to see some of the young guys step there game up post ASB. Hopefully BI, Ball, and Kuz can all take that step and carry it into the post season. _________________

This is a half truth. Assist to turnover ratio matters. |

Also depends on whether the guy was drafted #2 overall and thinks he's the next Kobe or just a role player taking his shots within the offense. |

When BI played point forward last season, it was well documented how well he played and how well he took care of the ball. Someone stated that he got a lot of TO's playing from the point, and that is not factual. |
